Wie erwartet und für unsere Anforderungen super. Ruhige Lage. Nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Alles in einem einen sehr schönen und erholsamen Urlaub dort verbracht.

Recommendable

The apartment is located in a quiet environment in Balaclava. The nearest supermarket (Jumbo) is about 6 km. The nearest public beach is about 3 km away. A rental car is advisable. We had rented the apartment in Feb./March 2018 for 33 nights solely with the intention of getting to know the island, which is why the central location was very important to us. The apartment is well maintained and with about 90 m² very spacious. All items needed for a longer stay are available. Tuesdays and Fridays, the apartment was cleaned and changed the sheets. The description on the internet corresponds to reality. We found everything as described. Didier and Marylin, the owners, are very friendly, helpful and with integrity. For the duration of our stay we had a rental car, to which Didier helped us on fair terms. We felt well and safely accommodated and can recommend the apartment with a clear conscience. Prestations au top et situation idéale

la location et ses équipements sont dignes d'un hôtel: nettoyage régulier, décoration soignée, gentillesse des propriétaires toujours à l'écoute pour nous aider dans notre séjour(conseils et réservation pour nos d'excursions et location de voiture. Situation idéale entre Port-Llouis et Grand Baie pour les visites. Seul bémol, la piscine n'était pas vraiment utilisable mais cela n'a rien gâché, la plage paradisiaque de Mont Choisy avait notre préférence.Merci à Didier et Maryline sans oublier Gucci le sympathique "gardien" de la maison. It was okay but not what I expected

We wanted a quiet place and that is what we got. What we did not know though is that the owner lives on the ground floor and that they are very peculiar people. They had a list of don'ts which did not really feel welcoming. We wanted a big pool, which the accommodation had but it was right in front of their living room, it really felt like going to the neighbor for a swim. My husband is dutch and I am Mauritian, and we were told not to receive guess and be loud and that nobody else but us were allowed in the pool. We are quiet people so we were not planning a party but i did wish to have my nephew over for the pool and have my family over for dinner, but couldn't. We accidentally packed one of their towels while packing and before we leave they did an inventory of the place and asked to pay for the towel - which is fine but the way it was handled really made us felt like thieves. For the rest, the place was clean and the rooms are as shown in the picture. You probably would need a car if you would like to go around. They had all the anemeties necessary. Was okay but not gonna happen again.
