「I arrived at the property but was unable to check in. There was no response to my phone calls or messages, leaving me with no way to access the property. Unfortunately, I had to spend the night sleeping in my car. This was a very disappointing experience.」

「Fabulous country house style stay - there is a sweeping driveway through mature gardens. The history of the house is fascinating - the monkey puzzle tree is a late addition at 1913. Staff are so kind and friendly and the food is all freshly cooked to order with generous portions. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely visit.」

The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted.
