“We got all the information regarding location, access and parking prior to check in time. The property was very clean and in a quiet location. It had everything we needed and was perfect for our weekend stay. The only negative is that the property was 78 degrees when we arrived about 9pm and it took a couple of hours to cool down. Would recommend getting in the property at check-in to adjust the temperature prior to settling in for the evening. We would definitely stay there again!”

“It was a great place great location parking was a small issue. Didn’t need to be super clean but the bottom of the fridge and bottom of the garbage cans are very very dirty. Also there was no apron and no aluminum foil or saran wrap I’m not sure maybe we should’ve brought our own. Overall great communication when I asked questions easy access accommodating great place would stay there again”

“I was happy with my stay. The property is an old farm house that's been split into 3 different rentals, and I was in the smallest. It did not have a full kitchen, but I think that's reflected in the price. The setting is peaceful and pretty, and I saw a LOT of deer! I did reach out to the owner in advance to make sure I could bring my pet bird (we were having a new furnace installed and I didn't want her around the fumes), and she responded right away and was very friendly. “Overall this was an amazing stay. We had a great weekend. Just for future renters, the space appears much bigger in the photos than it actually is. But it’s perfect for 2 people. It should also be noted that there is a shared entrance and no doors keep you secure from the owners possibly entering. However, the owners of the main home were not present during our stay so there were no issues. They also left us snacks!”

“The cottage was beautiful, clean and peaceful. Our girls weekend was filled with fun and recharging. The beds were very comfortable. We had fun making pasta and painting together at the large kitchen table. Our last night we enjoyed a couple hours at the large fire pit talking and looking at the stars. “This very nice place fit our needs just fine except that we were without a refrigerator for 20+ hours when we first arrived. Thanks for getting us in a substitute refrigerator into the front hall. The lock on the dirty front door is also not working reliably. The description on the Vrbo listing is rather confusing. Lovely location!”

“We had a few issues with our stay, but the host was very apologetic and was willing to correct the issues. I would definitely stay again because of that alone. The pool table was a hit, and I really liked that there was enough comfortable seating for the whole family, that seems to be a rare find in rental homes. Beds were decently comfortable, another rare find! Overall, its a great little house to hang in for the weekend. We are a family of 5 and it was comfortable for us. 10/10 would……

“My two young daughters (8 & 11) and I loved the house. It's tucked away in a small neighborhood right next to downtown Howell, nice and quiet on an inlet to the nearby lake, with everything you would want within 5-10 minutes (groceries, restaurants, pharmacy, etc.). The house is perfectly stocked in the kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms which was nice, and the host was very gracious and responsive. “This location is right across from a golf course so it was quiet. Be aware that at this time (May 5-10, 2024) there is road construction which makes Torrey Road a one way but that doesn't affect how nice this property is. “The hosts went above and beyond putting up a Christmas tree for our Christmas stay. The house was clean with plenty of space, and plenty of dishes and pots and pans. Our sleeping arrangements were a bit odd due to toddlers, but we made it work. Host was super responsive! FYI the coffee maker is a Keurig.”
