「The property was unkempt, very dirty. There were 2 window units for a 3 story 5 bedroom unit which in no way is adequate. The hot tub had not been serviced in a while. There was “ gunk” and debris clinging to the filter. Grill grate was broken, the other had chunks of old food on it. Silverware drawer was full of crumbs ( we assumed that’s is what it was) carpets were filthy. There were several fans in the house, but they were covered in dust. The odor was that of mildew and mold. It was a bad...

「We had a great time on our girls weekend trip to Banner Elk. The cabin was spacious, welcoming and clean. Unfortunately we did have issues with the hot tub. The control panel was not functioning so no jets. We notified the host who was quick to respond and have maintenance get it working but with it being the weekend everyone was off. It didn’t ruin our trip we still had a great time. We will definitely be back 」

「Love all the little things, coffee gift, comfortable beds, Christmas tree, fireplace, new deck, wine bottle opener. This place was absolutely perfect for us. We will definitely rent this house again. Met all of our needs and the location was quite and peaceful. The host put a lot of work into accomodating renters. 」

「This five bedroom, two-story house is great for large families or groups. Kitchens are well-stocked, although if there are specific spices or oils you prefer, bring those or buy them at two local grocery stores. The hosts are terrific, as are the neighbors. Be prepared to drive up a private gravel road that was rutted by rains when we were there. It's manageable. Know that the house is not handicap accessible, though it's not advertised as such. We had a marvelous time in the area. Lots to do....

「Renting from this host has been a 100 percent positive experience for me! The home fit all our needs, as well as being quiet and well outfitted, the hot tub was a plus on many evenings. This was my first long term rental and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it was managed by our host. He was quick to respond to questions, moved quickly on a small repair that was necessary, and generally made us feel welcome. Would definitely rent again! Barbara」

「During the winter make sure to bring snow chains! The only way to get to the lower level of the home is the very narrow metal spiral staircase or going around the house outside. Not great if you have dogs or small kids and it’s snowing/icy outside. If we didn’t have dogs and it wasn’t icy, this would have been a better fit.」

「Lots of cozy Mountain Vibes at this place. We loved the living area and kitchen close together with a screened door that allowed the crisp fall air to blow in. The porches are well covered so even when we had rain we were able to sit outside with a blanket and enjoy the views. There were plenty of small tables for drinks, devices, books, etc. and charging cords so we were really able to settle in and be at home away from home. Smart TV's enabled lots of streaming services. The kitchen had just...
