  • Welcome to Majordoms Cosines 48, a modern and comfortable town house in the centre of Banyoles, just a short walk from the lake. It's an easy, practical base for cyclists, active travellers, and longer work stays, everything is close by, while the house itself feels calm and private.



    With space for up to 4 guests, you'll have 2 bedrooms with individual beds and 1.5 bathrooms, spread over three levels with private parking and storage. After a day out, come home to reliable WiFi (100 Mbps), efficient heating with a smart thermostat, and a ...well-equipped kitchen for relaxed meals together.

    Cosines 48 is a compact, well-organised holiday rental in Banyoles, designed for easy self-catering stays.



    Level -1, practical arrival level with storage and parking.

    - Storage room, extra storage space for suitcases and gear.



    Ground floor, social level with the main living spaces.



    - Entrance hall, a simple arrival space to drop bags and get settled.

    - Living room, a relaxed space with a sofa, Smart TV, and a portable fan.

    - Kitchen & dining area, a practical open space for cooking and sharing meals together, with a Nespresso machine, fridge/freezer, hob, oven, microwave, and kettle.

    - WC, a convenient toilet on this level.

    - Bedroom 1, a twin bedroom with 2 single beds, a wardrobe, a ceiling fan, and a French balcony overlooking the town square.

    - Bedroom 2, a twin bedroom with 2 single beds, a wardrobe, and a ceiling fan, with a quiet back street view. It has an annex office space with a large desk and chair, useful for longer work stays.

    - Bathroom, with a walk-in shower, toilet, and sink — the main bathroom for the house.

    - Laundry room, a handy laundry space with a laundry machine, drying rack and an iron, useful for longer stays.



    COMFORT & SAFETY



    Cosines 48 is set up for a comfortable self-catering stay all year round. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, toaster, blender, and all the crockery and cutlery you need for the group.



    For longer stays, there is a washing machine, plus a drying rack and an iron.



    Heating is provided by central heating, controlled via a smart Tado thermostat.



    WiFi is available throughout the holiday rental, with a 100 Mbps connection.



    For warmer days, there are ceiling fans in both bedrooms, plus a portable fan in the living room.



    Safety features include smoke detectors and fire extinguishers.

    Cosines 48 is on Plaça de les Rodes, one of the main squares in Banyoles. It's a central, lively spot with cafes and local life right outside your door.



    Every Wednesday morning there is a farmers’ market on the square, it’s busy, colourful, and great fun, but it also means more noise in the morning.



    There is also a playground right in front of the house.



    Town (Banyoles)



    Banyoles is a great base for active travellers and cyclists. The centre is easy-going and walkable, and the lake is close by for a morning loop, a swim, or an evening walk.



    Province (Girona)



    Girona province is ideal for day trips and outdoor time, from cycling routes and hiking to medieval villages and the Costa Brava coastline.



    GETTING THERE & GETTING AROUND



    The closest airport is Girona (GRO), with Barcelona (BCN) also a common option for international flights.



    The nearest main train station is Girona (including high-speed connections), then you can continue to Banyoles by bus or taxi.



    For getting around locally, Banyoles is easy on foot and by bike, and having a car is useful for day trips across the Girona province and the Costa Brava.
