My reservations were canceled

The host of this property and BNB services took my payment and then canceled my reservation and didn’t tell me. When I arrived to check in, I had nothing. Luckily the hotel had room but I had to pay for it. I could not get a hold of the host. BNB services finally called me and said the host stopped paying the resort so all his reservations got canceled. This happened with 3 other families that we were traveling with that also used BNB services. I hit a hold of VRBO and they refunded my money.
