Christmas getaway

I treated my adult children, DIL, a girlfriend and granddaughter to a weekend away. Most won't l went skiing and some of us went to waterpark with my granddaughter. The place was perfect

Family Getaway

We’re a family of seven with kids from 8 to 19, and we all agreed this property was the perfect “home base” for us to explore Baraboo, the Dells and the surrounding area—and then come “home” to make dinner, have a fire, play and see the stars. The host was exceptionally communicative and checking in was incredibly easy. We truly felt at home here and would return again if we are back in the area.

Comfortable Farm House in the Country

This was a very comfortable home for our family. The house was extremely clean and the Kitchen was well stocked. Lots of fun games in the basement and the beds were all VERY comfortable. Close to the neat town of Baraboo and centrally located near Cascade mountain for skiing and the Dells for Fun. Our host was very responsive before and during our stay (Especially when I locked myself out due to user error and they had it unlocked in 5 mins). If we are in the area in the future I would definitely book again.

Beautiful property, thoughtful owner!

Really enjoyed our stay! The house was bigger inside than it looks from the outside. Comfortable beds. A lot of thoughtful details that made the stay more convenient like cookies, a gingerbread house, shampoo, conditioner, etc. Great location, quiet and private setting but close to all the things you need! House was very clean and updated. Owner was so thoughtful and kind! Thank you!

Pleasantly surprised!

We shared this home with another family for a dance competition at Kalahari. The location of this home was fantastic as it is peaceful and in the country. It was a quick 8-10 minute drive to the Kalahari Convention Center. We were able to take the backroads and avoid Wisco Dells traffic. There was plenty of room in the home for all 10 of us. Highly recommend!

Amazing space in a great location!

The house had more than what we needed- everything from kitchenware and bathroom needs. The basement had a variety of games and a large TV that kept us occupied. It was also a perfect location for us, 10 minutes from the Dells, 10 minutes from Baraboo, and 20 minutes or so to the Devils lake state park. The house was honestly bigger and better than I expected from the pictures. The host, Jenny was so considerate and flexible with us. Our stay couldn’t have been any more perfect, we will definitely be back! :)

Family vacation 2023

I loved the scenery and the fact that our neighbors weren't right on top of us. It rained quite a bit while there but we still all had a good time. They came and took the trash cans out to the road while we were there and that was nice. I pulled them back up once the dumpster had went. They recommended quite a few things to do that we actually did do. Like the lost canyon tours, ducks, timbavati wildlife zoo and the big cat rescue.

Wonderful home away from home. You don’t even need to pack your body care toiletries- the showers are stocked. So you can save some room in your suitcase 😉 kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals (with our own food)- even coffee in the cabinet—we brought our own and didn’t need to. Ice maker didn’t work but there were 2 ice trays—- May want to bring your own bag if you go through a lot of ice like we do. Board games and basement game room provided for the family to pass time between visits to all the local attractions. Speaking of local attractions, I chose this location because it was secluded from all the busyness yet still close by! 100% recommended- thanks for your hospitality!

Darling Farmhouse & Great Host

We booked this property for a family celebration. The house was clean, adorable, stocked with board games, books, a pool table, skee ball, ample towels, shampoo and kitchen gadgets to make our stay pleasant. The host was very sweet and also left a note and fresh cookies. The property was well maintained and cared for with a walking path and outdoor fire pit (with fire starter & logs). The small touches were nice and we felt at home during our stay. All in we were pleased with our choice. Upon booking, we knew the house was near a county road but didn't realize how close. The back and side yard were ample for us to enjoy but the traffic did detract from the serenity of the outdoor spaces. On the flip side, it was super convenient to access local attractions, which we appreciated. We truly enjoyed our stay, felt welcome, and would consider staying again.

Perfect for our multi generational family vacation! The home was stocked with everything we needed. When we arrived the home was clean and smelling fresh. The location was perfect to be close to the action of the Dells but far enough to enjoy the outdoors at night. Jenny was extremely pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend this property for those looking for a relaxed stay near the Dells.

Home Sweet Home

This cozy farm house felt like home! The house is clean, decorated cute, plenty of room. The mattresses were perfect, we slept great. We had 2 families stay here 4 adults, 2 teens, 3 kids and we never felt like we were on top of each other. The kids loved the game area in the basement. And the best part is we were out of the tourist area but only a few minutes away from all the action.

Girls weekend

The house was beautiful. Has everything you can possibly need, including kitchen stuff. Spacious yard. Lots of games. Beds were very comfy and the water pressure was awesome. Hot water in a house with 6 women and we never ran out. Thank you Jenny and family for sharing your home with us.

We had a very nice stay. The house is very clean and very cutely decorated. It was out away from the city but close enough to travel back and forth. Lots of space, house is much bigger than it looks from the outside. Beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay there agai!

Amazing Get Away Spot

This was the perfect location and accommodations for bringing a group of our semi-adult kids and their friends skiing. It was easy to get to, easy to work with the host, and the place was absolutely clean and adorable: had everything we could ever want or need. We commented multiple times on how lucky we were to find that spot. Would definitely stay again!
