Design and comfort on the Rambla

This is a fantastic designer apartment with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It is located right on the famous Ramblas, just 50 meters from Plaça Catalunya, the heart of Barcelona. Do not miss the opportunity to stay in the best location in the city.
When you visit a city you can be near the center, in the center or in the heart of the city.
A few steps from La Rambla and Plaza Catalunya, in Tallers street, you will find this apartment. An apartment located in a pedestrian area that will allow you to discover the center of Barcelona walking through its streets. This apartment presents a change of look with a new design that combines modernity and tradition, as it preserves some original architectural elements of the building that coexist in perfect harmony with a decoration inspired by Barcelona and a curiosity: a sculptural garden inside. It is a spacious, bright and very quiet apartment, with large interior rooms, ideal for families with children who want to enjoy the city and at the same time relax and rest. Therefore, it also offers a large dining room that will allow you to enjoy pleasant meals and after-dinner meals surrounded by your loved ones after a full day exploring the different corners of the city.
The building does not have an elevator, so access is via two small flights of steps.

On foot: 10 meters from Las Ramblas and several metro, cab and bus lines. Just 50 meters from Plaça Catalunya, a couple of minutes from Passeig de Gràcia (where the stores of major brands such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, among others, are concentrated) and less than 5 minutes from the Cathedral of Barcelona.
By subway: 3 stops to Barceloneta beach, 4 stops to Vila Olímpica, 5 stops to Sagrada Familia, 6 stops to Parc Güell and 7 stops to Montjuïc.

Clean & comfortable apartment in a great location

Our group of 8 people (5 adults and 3 kids) really enjoyed the apartment, and especially its location. Being right on the Rambla we were able to walk to most of the things we wanted to see and having the Mercat de la Boqueria right around the corner was a lot of fun. The checkin process was a little complicated but the host was responsive and helped us figure it out on the phone. Comfortable beds, great AC, and a functional kitchen allowed us to really relax during our three days in Barcelona.

Perfect location

Can’t beat the location. Was walkable to restaurants and marina. The place was beautiful and clean. Was a little hard to get the front door open but we finally got it and figured it out. Air conditioner was perfect and beds were comfy. Easy check out. Would stay there again

Perfect spot in the middle of it all

This apartment was amazingly located and perfect. It was quiet in spite of the fact that it’s right on la rambla. Communication with the host was quick and efficient. They arranged transport to the port and it was easy and fast. We were a group of 9, ages 8-70 and everyone enjoyed our stay.

The best of Barcelona at your door

Our stay at the apartment on Tallers was fantastic. The property is quiet, clean, and well appointed. It was perfect for our three-generation visit to Barcelona (grandparents, parents, grandkids). An easy walk to so many sights and close to the metro and shopping too. Several other reviews commented on the front door (lobby) lock being a bit tricky. We also experienced this and learned to gently jiggle the key. With finesse it works fine and was hardly an impediment. Highly recommend this rental. We hope to return soon!

Great Location!

The location of the apartment was perfect! We were able to easily walk almost everywhere and there was a metro stop and a taxi stand nearby when it was too far. The beds were comfortable and we found the layout very convenient. EnjoyBCN was very responsive to my questions and picking up the key was easy.

Great location but a few issues

This unit overall was very good. The location was great and it worked well for 4 adults. Like others who have previously reviewed, the lock to the unit is a bit temperamental. The other issue we encountered was that the hot water ran out. We never quite figured out what the key was to taking showers. If two people took showers at the same time, we ran out of hot water and someone ended with a cold shower. We tried to stagger but also encountered the same thing and someone took a cold shower. The other issue is there were no guides provided to operate specifically the washer/dryer. It seems like it should have been obvious and we spent a lot of time searching the internet for the specific machine and the symbols. We scanned a QR code found on the door and we also read that there were guides available and found in the kitchen but they were not there. Suggest providing guides in English.

Great stay in Barcelona

We stayed at this property with one other family - total of 8 people. The check in process requires you to go to another building that is about a 10 minute walk or one metro stop away to pick up a key. We knew this in advance and arranged for two of us to go pick up the key while the rest of our group waited at the building with all of the luggage. Unlocking the apartment did take a little bit of effort, but once we got the hang of it, it was fine. The apartment is beautifully appointed and there is plenty of space for two families to stay. The two hallway bathrooms are very small but were fine. The bathroom in the master bedroom does have a see through wall. Everything was very clean. The location was great for us -- we loved being so close to the Gothic Quarter. The boqueria was fantastic and within walking distance. We walked almost everywhere and had very limited metro or cab use. Would definitely recommend this apartment - we had a great stay!

Fantastic location. Very clean. Although this apartment is in the heart of a very active city center, you could not hear what was going on outside the apartment from the bedrooms. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location great vacation spot

Great location feet off LaRambla at the northern end - in the heart of the gothic quarter with lots on convenient shops steps from the door. There is lots of activity on the street, but the sleeping quarters are very quiet. The internet is quick, the AC is cold, and everything works great.

Great location But the Key!

Very nice Apartment on the heart of La Rambla St. I highly recommend it. The big issue was the key. We had to go to the property management company 2 miles away to get a key. Yes, in a unit for 8 guests we had 1 key. 2 if you shut off all power to the unit when you take key 2. As guests came and went the key was a constant issue. The apartment door is a bit difficult to unlock on top of that. See through master shower from the bedroom sounds fun unless you are coworkers. Put a blind on it.

Beautiful Apt in Central Location

Room for our family of eight. Upscale furniture and decor. Small narrow terrace. Combo washer dryer. Bakery across the street where we bought coffee pastries, and sandwiches. The EnjoyBCN staff were phenomenal, checking us in and answering our questions. Close to many sights at the top of La Rambla.

Gorgeous apartment in great area

This apartment is even nicer than the pictures show. We're a pretty picky group and everything was so nice! Decorated perfectly and with 4 beds/3 bath it was plenty of space. Easy to walk to everything in the Gothic/La Rambla area. Even to the high end shops on Passeig de Gràcia. The only negative we had was the stairs were tricky for my mom (she's 80) and we had just A LOT of luggage and it was heavy to carry upstairs. Other than that we loved everything and I've already recommended it to friends.

Review of VRBO Barcelona

It would have been nice to know that the room was available early, I had very difficult time contacting the office or the property manager. Attempted multiple times in the 48 hours prior to check in. We had the transport service drop us off at the office to be told room was ready, Taxi unavailable, and was not assisted to receive transport assistance so had to push our suitcases 6-8 blocks in the rain. Only provided with 2 sets of keys for 4 couples. Requested numerous times if it was possible to obtain 2 more sets without receiving an answer. Or change to a keycode access. Location is described as first floor. After visiting Barcelona, I now know that the first floor means the floor above the shops. It would be helpful to state in property description, that there are 3 flights of steps. Location was very nice. Only provided with 2 rolls of toilet paper for each bathroom for 8 people for 3 days. Had to purchase our own after 2nd day. Overall, everyone enjoyed this property and location. The above comments are the reason for a 3 star rating instead of a 5.
