My son and I had a nice stay at this hotel during our visit to Barcelona. It’s located in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, making it easy to walk to many of the city’s top attractions, as well as countless restaurants, cafés, and shops. Our room was ready when we arrived, which was greatly appreciated after a long travel day. I was a little disappointed that there was no acknowledgment of my son’s 16th birthday. I had mentioned the special occasion during the booking process, so I had hoped for a small gesture, such as a card or even a simple birthday wish from the front desk staff at check in. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. The bathroom was large and well appointed, with everything we needed. I also appreciated that the electrical outlets accommodated North American plugs, which made charging our devices very convenient. The area felt safe, and I had no concerns walking around with my son, both during the day and in the evening. We had dinner down by the beach one evening, which I highly recommend if you’re visiting Barcelona. Overall, this is a great property in an excellent location. Aside from one less-than-friendly customer service staff member (who was there upon our check-in as well as our check out) we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel to others visiting Barcelona.

Convenient location in the heart of the gothic quarter. The room is spacious for two and very clean. The rooftop pool is nice but it was too cold to swim. The daily wine and cheese tasting (only one glass per guest) is a nice touch. Breakfast is great but only had it once since we wanted to try local cafes the other days.

We loved our stay here! The rooms are compact but CLEAN and importantly, the beds are spacious and comfortable. This hotel has a great location near the Gothic Quarter and only about a 20 min walk to the Eixample district, and despite this it was still super quiet at night and we could sleep very soundly. We felt very safe here walking home from dinner too!

The hotel is in an excellent location for the old city, with everything accessible on foot. Cleaners totally ignored the do not disturb sign on both our rooms and turned off the AC. The window in one room was broken and dangerously hanging off one hinge so leaving the AC on was the only option to cool the room. Staff were polite in general but the breakfast was shockingly bad for the price. I would suggest eating elsewhere. Very limited options and massively overpriced.
