I paid for a double twin room to have a bit more space, and a better bathroom - but they threw me into a single anyways. Its loud here. Staff aren't the friendliest either.

This is an older hotel, which gives the private and public rooms some old school flavor. It is right next to the main promenade and in the middle of the Gothic quarter, which is full of history and restaurants.

シングルルームにも浴槽付きの写真がありますが、シャワーのみの部屋にあたってしまったのが残念。眺望も窓を開けても隣の建物がすぐ近くで楽しめず。ハンドルシャワーと天井シャワーがあるのにハンドルタイプは使えなかったり、洗面台も使い勝手が悪く、どうやってもびしょびしょになってしまう残念な水回り。冷蔵庫とティッシュがないのが地味に不便でした。エアコンは壁埋め込み式。館内にお菓子の自販機も有り。 ビュッフェの写真がありますが、実際はビュッフェではなく一人用にそれぞれ用意してくれるレストラン形式です。料金はパンとコーヒーとジュースセットで4ユーロから。前日に受付けで、日ごとに予約しておく必要があります。それを知らずに二日目、予約せずにレストランに行ってしまいましたが、その場で用紙に記入しても快く用意してもらえたので助かりました。 内装はヨーロッパ調というかレトロで素晴らしいです。しかも、室内はタバコとか変な臭いも一切せず快適でした。スペインは歩きタバコが多いので、不用意に窓を開けて過ごすことはできなかったのですが。スタッフの中には日本語で「ようこそ」と言ってくれる楽しい方がいたりとスタッフの対応も良かったです。寝るだけでしたら、観光にとても便利な立地なのでお勧めできます。

Beautiful property as far as esthetics, architecture. Absolutely gorgeous. Check in clerk didn’t think I could understand her comments and was abrupt/rude (Milly). Could not get A/C to cool room and pulled out my small cruise fan for relief. Last full day there - walked in to find roach crawling on floor. Notified desk clerk after I put all my luggage on my twin bed. Came back and no note on if critter was caught. Slept on twin bed with luggage that night - not restful. Check out clerk was pleasant. Great for the quaint old feel of old Barcelona but didn’t feel taken care of hospitality and issues wise. Wish things were different - would have loved to give a great review but unfortunately cannot.

What I liked was the convenience to walk to the cathedral/square and the Rumbula. The lobby was very nice, the staff most accommodating- got us great tickets to the flamenco show as well as a 3 am taxi to the airport. What I did not like was the noise from the side street with homeless men yelling at each other. Only one night of the 6 we were there.

Lovely hotel in an exceptional location. I walked everywhere because the hotel is in the middle of the city and easy to find, which was important because I’d never been to Barcelona before. I’d definitely stay there again.

Personal was very kind. Rooms were clean. The area is very central. You can go everywhere by walk! Only thing is that the furniture of the room is old, the closets are not good organized (at least in the three people room) and there is no iron for self use (security reasons) and iron costs 6,50€. All summarized its good to stay here.

Just location was good That was the terrible staying that I have ever had. The hotel was very old and dirty and the room smells very bad and very noisy. I wanted to ask a question about reserving a taxi but front desk Representative was eating lunch and she didn't come to us and that was not nice.

Hotel centralissimo per cui è strategico per girare la città ed eventualmente sostare tra un giro e l'altro. Hotel esteticamente bellissimo, tutto stile Art Nouveau. Personale molto gentile e sorridente parlante inglese e un pò italiano. A disposizione acqua e limone per gli ospiti nella hall. Colazione su richiesta (va chiesta il giorno prima) a pagamento, cassaforte in camera a pagamento. Unico lato veramente negativo: stanze non silenziose perchè i muri sono sottili.

The hotel is vintage. Rooms are dark. Poor eating facility. We were there a week and room had no garbage can and water glasses were not replaced with clean ones when the room was done. The location is superb though.

The location is about the only good thing my girlfriend and I liked. What not to like well, there is no complementary breakfast which most Hotels provide more over cleaning staff did their job however front desk where not too friendly and the Hotel conditions is not what is advertised online and the view facing a street alley with street noise made it unpleasant. We will seek else where on next visit.

There is an ice machine, which is a rarity in smaller independent European hotels. Our bathroom had a towel drying/warming rack, which we loved. Complimentary bottle of water in the room with nice glasses. Our only real complaint was the dodgy WiFi. You have to constantly reconnect. The address is just off La Rambla, so keep an eye on your stuff. Great coffee and pastry shop across the street called El Mos. Big Carrefour and Boqueria Market also close by.
