All the staff were helpful and when we needed to change rooms, they offered an immediate solution. The check-in staff was very courteous and welcoming.The building is in a historic part of the city, so you can expect an old building**,** but the rooms are clean, although on the smaller side. It is within walking distance of all the important sightseeing spots and shops. There is a supermarket nearby and lots of food options.

The property had a strong unpleasant odor as soon as you entered, and at one point it was so bad that I almost felt sick. The room itself was decent, the location was excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, after checking in, I realized that no blanket had been provided. When I asked the front desk that evening, I was told they couldn’t provide one because they didn’t have access to the laundry at night. A blanket is a basic amenity that every hotel should be able to provide at any hour. Overall, despite the relatively high nightly rate, the property gave me the feel of a budget hostel rather than a hotel. While the location was a definite plus, the lack of basic amenities and the unpleasant odor made the stay disappointing.

The hotel is in Barcelona, in the center, in the Gothic Quarter, I think it’s called. It has a wonderful air conditioner, perfect for sleeping. However, at night, you shouldn’t go out—it’s dangerous. There are many immigrants in masses. The hotel itself is just for sleeping. Nothing more.

If I could give less than one star, I would; my room number 204 was in a really bad conditions. It was full of mold, same with the curtain, a lot of dust, hair in the bed and on the floor, bathroom and sink was not draining. The worst hotel I have stayed at, I have filed a complaint for sanitary reasons.
