✅ Please note the following important information before booking:

- The Property Manager will send you a 30% link to make the first payment (We do not accept American Express Card).

- The remaining 70% must be paid by bank transfer must be received alleast 3 days before check-in or in cash at the time of check-in.

- A security deposit will be collected by credit/debit card upon check-in at our office or by Online Link. We will process the refund of the deposit within 14 business days.

- Travel cot/Travel cot:
Price: 20.00 EUR / Day / Item. It is not guaranteed, guests must request it 24-48 hours in advance and if available we will provide it.

-Arrival after hours:

- Our check-in time is from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday to Sunday at our office "Carrer de Hercegovina, 1 LOCAL 08021 Barcelona". Outside these hours we will charge €50 in cash as late check-in
- The Tourist Tax in Barcelona will be applied.

- Smoking is NOT ALLOWED under any circumstances. Receiving a report or having evidence that smoking in the apartment will result in immediate eviction from the apartment and a fine of at least 400 euros.

- Parties or meetings are NOT ALLOWED under any circumstances. If we receive a report and/or the police, security or neighbours intervene, you will have to pay a fine of €400 (in addition to the police fine).

Don’t bother

Multiple issues. Really disappointed and unhappy. 1) 3 days before leaving PM claimed had tried to reach me. Nope. No calls. Arranged a call 48 hours before we left and told pool NOT available. Cancel or 10% discount. No time to scramble for another place but the pool was why we rented this place. 2) requested early check in and willing to pay. Told no. Got into unit and clearly NO ONE had been there. 3) walked into a blast furnace. It was easily 85F or 29C. Turned air on. Quickly dressing for wedding rehearsal dinner of our niece. Dripping with sweat. Sent messages. No response. 4) strict NO SMOKING. Great because I’m super sensitive to the smell. This place was a well used ashtray. Smelled HORRIBLE. Stale cigarette smell permeated. 5) radiators blasting heat and 1st night miserable. Called in am and had a call back via What’s App video. Thermostat for boiler not working so had to shut down boiler. Never felt cool in there - a lot better but still not good. 6) showers ran charcoal colored water for 4-7 mins before ran clear. Disgusting. 7) zero niceties with this place. Run down. Flimsy cheap flour sack curtains with giant holes/ tears in them. Sofa covered in gross afghans covering a filthy sofa. Worn out and uncomfortable. Only other seating a chair with no arms. Stupidly uncomfortable. 8) tv not a smart tv. Really? In 2022? 9) beds really awful. Cheap cheap cheap - little bit more give than the floor 10) 1 towel per person. No wash clothes. No hand towels. No dish cloths. Nothing. Asked how to get more - no response. 11) pics don’t convey how tight the master bath is (with cracks all over counter) nor the room with 2 beds. The “beds” are basically cots with about 4” between them. 12) upstairs patio that is outdoors. Once again no niceties. 3 planters with dead plants. 13) location too far from anything. Again we chose bc of pool. 14) stairwells are treacherous. Super tight spirals. Walk into the kitchen and that opens to table with 6 chairs and living area. Take stairway down to bathrooms and bedrooms. Go up to patio. Definitely do NOT even consider with kids or older adults. First time I’ve ever written a bad VRBO review as we’ve had wonderful places all over the world. This is NOT one. Waste of money. So many other options out there. Kicking myself on this choice. The best part were the young women who checked us in. Very pleasant and easy to work with.

Viel Potenzial aber schlechte Ausstattung

Die Ferienwohnung war leider sehr schlecht ausgestattet. Kein Föhn, kein Küchenlappen/Handtücher, weder Salz noch Pfeffer und nur eine Rolle Klopapier. Auch die auf den Bildern dargestellte Hängematte war leider nicht vorhanden. Uns wurde die Wohnung auch nicht gezeigt sondern nur der Schlüssel in die Hand gedrückt. Um die Wiedererstattung der Kaution muss man sich auch selbst kümmern. Unsere haben wir bis jetzt (2 Wochen nach Abreise) noch nicht zurückbekommen.

Barcelona in June

The property was great. It was nice a cool inside during a heat wave. Two levels plus the roof deck gave us plenty of space for 2 adults and 4 teenagers. The apartment was very close to the Metro so easy to get around Barcelona (once we figured out the Metro system :) ).

Disappointing after reading previous reviews

We were looking forward to staying here after reading previous reviews, however on reaching the property it was not what we were expecting. It's in a safe area situated on a back road, but due to the one way system in the area, there was a lot of traffic using the road as a cut through- so traffic noise was present. The place was relatively clean, but the cows hide on the sitting area floor did not look as if it had been vacuumed for a long time. The oven had not been cleaned either. The dishwasher looked new, but the lower tray had wheels missing so pulling it in and out was difficult. Nothing is supplied except towels, dishwasher tablets and toilet paper, so you need to bring everything else. Inc hand soap, tea cloths, cleaning cloths, kitchen roll, oven gloves- if you want to use the oven etc, etc etc. , There were no written instructions on how to use the washing machine, a/c and heating controls etc. I lost count of the number of light bulbs which were not working. The bathrooms are extremely small, with very little room to move. The light positions are poor making shaving difficult, plus it does not help when one of the bulbs had blown. One of the bathrooms has the central a/c unit fan in the ceiling and it constantly is working so it's very noisy. The sink in this room had a broken drain stop, so the water was always collecting- the only way to let it drain was to remove the plug altogether.The pipe for the shower head was old and worn with the metal casing coming apart exposing the plastic hose underneath. The bedrooms have blinds which you lift and lower using a rod. In the main bedroom the rod handle was broken and being made of metal left a sharp edge. The blinds also look old and were very stiff to move.The blind in the upstairs room is not black out so if you need dark to sleep, you will struggle. The stairs between the floors are narrow and take a bit of getting used to, and it did not help that one if the boards was loose. I did mention some of this to the letting agent, and they asked if they could come and look, however no one came during our stay. This is the first place we have stayed where the apartment is part of a letting company , not run by an individual, and we really noticed the difference. The apartment needs a lot of work doing to it and I hope the owners get this done. Would I book again- probably not.

Stay in Barcelona

The neighborhood was quiet but not necessarily close to the main attractions. Close to the metro though which makes things easier. The bathrooms are tight but they do the job. The two things missing. 1. At least one bar of soap. 2. The mattress could certainly be better. Not a heavy person at all and they were thin and hard. There is plenty of space and very clean.

Overpriced

It was difficult to contact the management. The emergency and contact numbers provided by my space Barcelona.com were not functional. The key pick up was 2 miles away which was inconvenient with luggage. The apartment provided minimal supplies for 3 nights and 4 days. 1 towel with 1 hand towel per person for 4 days. One small bar of soap per bathroom for hands and baths, 1 roll of toilet paper per bathrooms and we ran out with no extra toilet paper or soap in closet or bathrooms. The kitchen had no paper towels and no hand towels to use on dishes, no dishwasher soap so we hand washed everything. We chose the apartment because it appeared cute and comfortable in the pictures, but it was not so in person. The place had no pictures on the walls and the patio had no cushions, no hammock, no flowers or plants! The washer/dryer was the best part of the house, but I had to purchase my own detergent. The place had only one extra blanket for 3 bedrooms and it was not that clean. There are lots of narrow stairs, stairs down to bathrooms and bedroom from main floor and stairs up to patio from main kitchen floor. Not good for older couples or families with small children that could fall. I would not recommend El Putxet i el Farro' to any of my friends.

Lage prima, Aber Apartment entsprach nicht wirklich den Bildern

Die Wohnung ist für den Preis und Barcelona Verhältnisse okay, aber es war bereits einiges kaputt und nicht repariert. Wirkte insgesamt wenig gepflegt, war aber überwiegend sauber. Terrasse sieht viel ungepflegter aus als auf den Bildern, es fehlten Kissen. Betten in den kleinen Zimmern katastrophal, die beiden kleinen Zimmer sind außerdem extrem eng, wenn man sie jeweils als Doppelzimmer nutzen möchte. Die Lage ist super und praktisch fanden wir. Die Kaution habe ich nun aber nach 3 Wochen immer noch nicht zurück.

Place was ok, customer service was terrible

The place was small with lots of stairs, seniors be careful, that said the place was fine and the rooftop deck was enjoyable. The same can not be said of the management company. There was a major safety issue and a minor issue with a chair. Three emails, two phone calls, two assurances of a return call not met later we left without any satisfaction. If I were the propert owner I would fire the management company

Apartment with private terrace- Barcelona

I was very disappointed. The picture of the terrace looks nothing like the terrace at the property. The table is discolored, the chairs are old and worn out. The cushions were faded and there was no hammock. We had planned to have some cheese and crackers with wine one night during our stay but the terrace was not inviting and needed a lot of TLC... The couch in the living room is not the same as the picture on the website. I had purposely sent an email to the owner of the apartment who confirmed that this is the apartment I would be renting, except there would not be any flowers on the table. The only plus of this apartment is that is situated on a quiet neighborhood about a block and a half from the metro. The apartment could have also used a better cleaning service especially in the bathrooms!

Great stay in a spacious and clean apartment!

We really enjoyed our stay at this place in Barcelona. Located close to Metro, Buses, Grocery Stores, and some great restaurant, we had everything we needed close by and could easily get around to anywhere in the city. Our only issue was driving around town trying to find a place to park so we could go check in and the ramp in the parking garage at the building was a bit difficult to get up so we only ended up using our rental car one day out of five other than to get there and get back to the airport so we probably wouldn't go with a car next time, but we would definitely go back!
