Summary:
Welcome to this comfortable 3 bedroom apartment located in the heart of Barcelona, near plaza Catalunya. The apartment can accommodate up to 8 guests, which makes it the perfect choice for a large family or group of friends. The apartment has a huge living area that features a relaxing sofa and a flat screen TV, dining area, and well-equipped kitchen.
The apartment is 5 minutes from Metro Plaza de Catalunya (Red Line L1 & Green Line L3) and Plaza Urquinaona (Lines 1 & 4).
The Space:
The Collection Barcelona welcomes you to this 115 m2 spacious and central located flat located next to the emblematic centre of Barcelona, Plaza Catalunya. Enjoy the convenience of staying in the center of Barcelona, with easy access to restaurants, shopping, and the city's best attractions. Take a short 30-minute walk to admire the beauty of La Sagrada Familia or explore the nearby Parc de la Ciutadella. The luxurious shopping street Passeig the Gracia is also just a 10-minute walk away.
We manage other apartments in the same building, really convenient for big families, groups of friends or business trips.
⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT Please note the apartment is located in a residential building, where neighbors live here all year around and it is our obligation to respect their rest. Please make sure before confirming your reservation you can adhere to the simple House Rules that are detailed below. Failure to accept and follow those will result on a monetary sanction and eviction from the property with no refund for the remaining nights.
APARTMENT DISTRIBUTION:
The apartment has a capacity for up to 8 people distributed in 3 bedrooms:
- Bedroom 1: 1 Double bed
- Bedroom 2: 1 Double bed
- Bedroom 3: 2 Individual beds
- Living room: Sofa bed
SPECIAL FEATURES OF THE APARTMENT:
- Spacious living room facing an interior and very quiet courtyard!
- Quiet and private bedrooms, all of them with windows facing an interior patio.
- 2 Full bathrooms
- TV and Wi-fi
- Elevator and concierge in building
- Baby travel cot and high chair available under request
- Bed linens (and comforters during winter season) and bath towels (one shower towel per guest) will be provided!
- The apartment will be professionally cleaned before your arrival
- Paid parking off premises
Please consider there will be works related to the facade renovation from Feb 25th, to April 25th in the back facade and from May 25th in the street facade of the building.

The Neighborhood:
Dreta de l'Eixample is a neighborhood in the Eixample district of Barcelona. It includes Plaça de Catalunya, the centre of the city, and the upscale streets Rambla de Catalunya and Passeig de Gracia. It is the bourgeois neighborhood of the city, which makes the majority of its population belong to the upper class of Barcelona. Dreta de L'Eixample is one of the most luxurious neighborhoods of Barcelona.
Getting Around:
The closest metro station is Plaça Urquinaona (Lines 1 & 4).
The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the bus "Aerobus" at Plaça Catalunya, in front of "El Corte Inlges". The cost is around 4.5€
Other Things to Note:
*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***
- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small fee of 6.25€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.
- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.
- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation
and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.

Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs
Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)
*** HOUSE RULES ***
1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction
2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.
3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).
4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.
5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.
6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.
7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.
Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

Great location and spacious apartment. But there is room for improvement to add storage options and the bathroom setup can be improved. It could be helpful to have a safety box so the visitors can use the safe while they go out.

la casa è situata in una buona posizione, abbastanza centrale quindi vicina a zone della città belle e da vedere e vicina a molti bar ristoranti e supermercati. La casa è come dalle foto, abbiamo avuto solo un problema con l’acqua calda il secondo giorno ma l’host subito ci ha mandato un tecnico per risolvere il problema. Non molto lontana dalle discoteche e nelle vicinanze ci sono metro, fermata del bus e stazionamento delle biciclette

Un’esperienza indimenticabile… purtroppo.
Soggiornare in questo appartamento è stato come partecipare a una puntata di un reality show, ma senza telecamere e soprattutto senza preavviso!
Partiamo dai lati positivi: la posizione è fantastica e la casa è grande, perfetta per gruppi di amici. C’è tanto spazio per divertirsi, sempre che riusciate a ignorare qualche piccolo “inconveniente”.
Ora passiamo al resto, che è la vera attrazione del soggiorno.
Appena arrivati, siamo stati accolti da una piacevole fragranza di… fogna, proveniente da uno dei bagni. Un’ottima scelta per chi ama i profumi forti e decisi! La finestra del bagno, probabilmente per non disperdere l’aroma, è sigillata come il sarcofago di un faraone.
Le altre finestre, invece, sono talmente “aperte” che anche con tutta la nostra buona volontà non siamo riusciti a chiuderle. Anzi, quando ci abbiamo provato perché dovevamo uscire, una di esse ha deciso di concludere la sua carriera volando giù dal palazzo. A quanto pare, era stanca di stare lì quanto noi.
Ma non preoccupatevi, perché l’assistenza è rapida e cordiale! Peccato che il mattino seguente ci siamo svegliati con degli operai in casa, entrati senza avvisare, come se partecipassero anche loro alla nostra avventura. Se vi piace la compagnia a sorpresa a colazione, questo è il posto giusto!
Le tapparelle? Rotte. Ma noi, impavidi e con spirito da bricoleur, ce le siamo sistemate da soli. Non volevamo privarci di un po’ di fai-da-te in vacanza!

Zentrale Wohnung, aber insgesamt ihr Geld nicht wert
Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr zentral und günstig im Zentrum und an der U-Bahn gelegen. Sie ist geräumig und sauber und die Kommunikation mit der Agentur war sehr gut.Mir hat der Aufenthalt in der Wohnung aber leider nicht gefallen, weil ich in einer Wohnung Platzangst bekomme, in der es lediglich ein Fenster mit Tageslicht gibt, alle anderen Fenster gehen zu Lichtschächten mit keinerlei Tageslicht. Außerdem ist mir die Wohnung zu spartanisch und lieblos eingerichtet, auf den Bildern sieht es deutlich gepflegter und gemütlicher aus. Die Einrichtung ist teilweise auch sehr abgenutzt und im vorderen Bad müffelt es unangenehm nach Abwasser. Dort lässt sich das Fenster nicht öffnen.Für jemanden, der nur zum Schlafen in der Wohnung und ansonsten unterwegs ist, ist sie in Ordnung. Mit Kindern muss man, für mein Empfinden, aber eine gemütlichere Basis bei einem Urlaub in einer Großstadt haben.Ich finde sie insgesamt zu teuer, allerdings ist in Barcelona alles sehr teuer für Touristen.
