"Great Location, That's About It"
This apartment's location in Bari was fantastic, but unfortunately, that's where the positives end. We encountered multiple issues from the moment we arrived.
The apartment's main door lock was broken, which we discovered after unpacking. The door could literally be pushed open, posing a major security risk. The balcony was not much better; it was tiny, dirty, and didn't lock either.
Inside, a strong, unpleasant smell—like cat urine—was noticeable. The bed was also broken, slumping significantly to one side. I ended up sleeping on the couch while my wife took the bed.
The check-in process was also a hassle. We wasted an hour after a long travel day trying to locate a lockbox for a manual key. Communication with the owner was done via WhatsApp and was not very clear, which only added to the confusion.
Unless you're truly desperate, I would recommend skipping this apartment. The combination of security issues, cleanliness problems, and poor communication made for a very disappointing stay.
