「Die Unterkunft sah besser aus, als sie dann vor Ort war. Positiv: Wir durften ziemlich früh bereits in ein Zimmer. Unsere Zimmer waren auch in Ordnung, aber alles war irgendwie unpersönlich - nicht so, wie wir es in Südafrika sehr oft kennen- und lieben gelernt haben. Frühstück im Urlaub nur bis 09:00 Uhr, ist eher eine Strafe, als etwas auf das ich mich freuen kann. Der Kaffee schmeckte “nicht die Bohne”….. das war auch nicht so der Hit. Ich vergebe eine 3 -」

「A very special guest house. We loved our one night here and would willingly have stayed a few more nights. The welcome and ongoing service were excellent. Our room was large, very well appointed and maintained. Some nice little ' welcome' items. Topped off by a high quality, reasonably priced on-site restaurant. Try it you won't be disappointed. 」

「The rooms were very comfy and had all you needed to self cater. The terrace area was a lovely place to sit and drink a sundowner. We enjoyed wandering the estate which was nice and level to walk around. The dogs were really friendly but knew the boundaries so whilst they would come onto the terrace area, they never came into the rooms. The daily home-made rusks were delicious.」

「Lovely hotel in best location in Kimberley - literally next door to the Big Hole, with its own pathway. Staff were very helpful. Room and hotel were tastefully decorated to fit into mining theme. 」

「Despite the chilly weather of Kimberley our stay was delectable, however, the facility lacks communication means with the reception whien in your room. I found myself having to leave the room to the reception to ask for an iron when it would be easy to communicate via a telephone like in other hotels. Also, the room was not thorougly clean on the carpet when we returned to sleep for the second night.」

「I did not even get a chance to spend a night in the Hotel because it was closed since the lockdown. I remained stranded in the night until the police came and assisted me in getting accommodation for the night. All thanks to HOTEL.COM」

「It is perfect for a quick stop over, well priced and gives you what you need. I was satisfied, because I just needed a bed before I got going. Things were clean, but nothing was spectacular, which was not the point.」

「Awful service, no remotes in the rooms for the AC, or TV. Woke up with cockroaches on the table near my things. Had to ask about wifi, and had to ask to get cups and glasses for the room. They told us we didnt have have breakfast included, i had to prove to them that we paid for B &B. The toilets dont have seat covers, and the shower barely released any water. Is seems like a place theyve tried to make beautiful in the cheapest possible way.」

「One of the best staff I ever encountered. The housekeepers, front desk and the breakfast staff. Breakfast was limited in choice but enjoyable. If you like an antique setting this is the place for you」
