Start your days with a walk or cycle along the Tarka Trail – a scenic, mostly traffic-free route that winds through woodlands, alongside rivers, and past charming villages. Stop for coffee in Great Torrington (3 miles) or browse the independent shops and Pannier Market in Barnstaple (8 miles), North Devon’s lively regional hub. Beach days are a must, and you're spoiled for choice. Head to Instow (11 miles) for calm waters and a relaxed vibe, or Westward Ho! (12 miles) for classic seaside fun and arcades. Surfers and sun-seekers alike will love the golden sands of Saunton, Croyde, and Woolacombe, all within a 20-mile drive and perfect for a day out with the whole gang.
Step through the front door and into the heart of the home – a beautifully fitted kitchen/diner with underfloor heating to keep toes toasty. The well-equipped kitchen, complete with a central island, has everything you need to cook up a feast, while the spacious dining area with floor-to-ceiling glazing, is a bright space for sociable meals or special celebrations. Just off the kitchen, you’ll find a separate utility room, a handy cloakroom and a separate downstairs WC. At the far end of the kitchen is a sunny garden room with comfortable seating and a large Smart TV with a full Sky package. The inviting lounge boasts deep, plush sofas, a crackling wood burner, a 65" Smart TV and a sleek media wall for movie nights or lazy afternoons. Stairs lead up to the four bedrooms that are light and airy, finished with accent wallpapers and soft bedding. These include: a luxurious super king-size room with an en-suite shower room and a Smart TV, a king-size room with en-suite shower room and a Smart TV, a zip-and-link king-size room (can be made into 2’6” twins on request) and a Smart TV, and a cosy twin room (2’6” zip-and-link beds, that can be made into a king-size on request). Guests also have access to a sleek shower room plus a spacious family bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath for a long soak after a day of adventure.
From the sunroom, patio doors lead directly out to a decked terrace with a glass balustrade, where you'll find your own private hot tub and steps down to the expansive enclosed lawn with a treehouse and slide, garden furniture, and a gas BBQ. The garden enjoys sweeping countryside views and is designed for all ages to enjoy. The enclosed dog paddock includes a waste bin and an outdoor hose for rinsing muddy paws. The gravelled driveway offers ample parking for up to five cars, and a gate secures the entire plot for peace of mind.
