「This place is amazing! I came for only one night but will definitely be back for an extended stay as the rooms provide many more amenities than a traditional hotel room. The property is extremely clean, quiet and so retro cool maintaining a lot of the original 1950’s vintage feel of the original motel. 」

「We stayed for one night and loved the tent and surroundings. The tent is super cozy, very pretty and a cool experiance to sleep in.」

「This was a wonderful place to stay. It would have been better to be able to park and use amenities longer day of arrival and departure. Other than that, it was great and we had an awesome time! Pickleball court, pool and grill, outdoor area was very nice to have!」

「This is a wonderful property that had everything we needed for our weekend stay in Ogunquit. It is very clean, well-organized and exactly as described in the listing. The location is great- 5 minute’s walk to Perkins Cove. Check-in, check-out, parking and directions were clear and easy. To make it even better, our host Gloria was incredibly generous, kind and a clear communicator. We highly recommend this listing and hope to return again.」

「We Sandpiper Cottage. Everything was just perfect. Our hosts really thought of everything! Location was great, close to town and beach. It was the two of us and my pup. There’s even a dog park close by. We loved it and will definitely return!! 」

「The house and grounds are beautiful, especially if you appreciate old historic houses. Issues did arise ut Chelsi responded very quickly. The kitchen is modern w room for lots of cooks. We made use of most of the amenities -pool, sauna, theater room. Location is great- near beach and rail trail, and short distance to rye, Portsmouth, kittery . It worked perfectly for our college roommate reunion.」

「We found all the comforts of home at our fingertips and the on site amenities were just what we had hoped for, for a relaxing getaway. The other folks staying were also a part of the experience that made it great. We got to chat with other travelers in a relaxed environment. We could have kept to ourselves and had a private and relaxing experience if that had been what we wanted, but to our pleasant surprise, it was nice to chat and share. 」

「Cute cottage, very clean and everything you need. Very quiet neighborhood and short walk to marginal way. We had a wonderful time, in fact we already booked for next year! Deidre is quick to respond to any questions you may have and check in was seamless.」

「Beautiful place right on the lake. Very basic accommodations, we really only slept there. Perfect for what we needed. I had trouble with the television, couldn’t figure it out. We were trying to watch the Celtics playoff game. Emailed the host I didn’t get a response Until the next day. Ironically, in her email, she said “ Don’t hesitate to reach out “ and she was “available 24/7”. We ended up listening to the game. Other than that, we had a great stay.」

「Our group had a wonderful time staying at this property! The house was spotless and so spacious. We loved grilling out back and walking 5 minutes to the beach down the road. We would absolutely recommend this house and would be thrilled to stay here again!」

「We really enjoyed our stay at the Rose Star Cottage! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the Nubble Lighthouse. The cottage was clean and well-equipped, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The cottage was very comfortable, and the screened-in porch was a nice bonus. The host was very accommodating and had excellent communication from beginning to end of our rental. We would definitely recommend this cottage for a relaxing and beautiful getaway! 」

「Beautiful and very comfortable cottage—location can’t be beat for beach access.」

「There was a mix-up about what day we were arriving, so the bed was not made when we arrived, but management took full responsibility for the mix-up and resolved the issue quickly. I was quite impressed with the way that management handled the issue. The description of the property was very accurate. The view from the balcony is fantastic, and it’s just a short walk across the road to the beach, which was very convenient. 」

「This was our first stay at The Pioneer on York Beach, and it was perfect for our family. There was plenty of room for the adults and our 7 grandchildren, and everyone had a great time. Much of our time was spent on the beach each day, which was just a short walk from the house. We’ve stayed at 4 different GVC properties for the past 5 years, and each one has been excellent - they all have a consistent feel and provide all the necessary amenities for a wonderful experience.
