The Boat House - Barwon Heads

The Boat House is a bright and beautiful beach house exuding warmth and comfort in the heart of Barwon Heads. It's the perfect family home away from home.

The bright and luxuriously comfortable open plan living and dining area is a beautiful place to unwind after a day at the beach.

The well-equipped kitchen includes an electric oven and gas stove, stainless steel fridge-freezer, dishdrawer dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and all the cooking equipment and utensils for the avid home cook. Should you opt to eat out, there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

The house opens out onto a large sunny deck with BBQ and outdoor lounge setting to relax and a drink on those warm Barwon evenings. There's also an outdoor shower and a deliciously deep claw foot bath with hot and cold water.

The main bedroom has a queen size bed with an ensuite. The second room has two single beds and the third bedroom had has two singles which can be pushed together to make a queen bed (please advise on booking if this is required).

The 'fourth bedroom' is a very cool refurbished 1970's Franklin caravan in my backyard which has a queen size bed and small kitchenette which is available for use.

We also have a kids hang out room in the shed which has its own tv and loads of beanbags. This room also has a bed which can be used as a single or pulled out to make a queen.

The laundry is fully equipped with washing machine, dryer and clothes line.

The main bedroom has its own ensuite and the second bathroom features a bath with a shower. The toilet room has separate access.

The house also has everything you need for children as we have our own, so just bring yourselves as everything from toys and books to portacots, baby bath and high chairs are available.

The entire property has wifi connectivity. All the streaming services are available along with a comprehensive dvd library.

Parking is available on the property and there is ample parking on the street.

Minimum of 7 night stay during peak periods and minimum of 3 night stay during off peak periods. This house is my principal place of residence but if you are interested in booking it outside of peak periods, please get in touch as it is very possible that it can be made available for you.

Guest Access

Guests will have access to the entire property. No amenities are shared.

Interaction with Guests

We will not be present during the stay and will have no direct interaction with the guests - it is a private residence. However, you will have our contact details and we will be on hand should you require any assistance during your stay.

The Neighbourhood

Coogee Court is friendly and peaceful. The Skate Park and Pirate Park playground are at the end of our street. The beach is not far and it is just a 5 minute walk to the centre of Barwon Heads, offering a variety of cafes, shops and beaches.
