Very good would go again

The place was great you had the little kitchen and the bed was very nice the only bad thing I have to say is that the Netflix and anything else the tv said it had didn’t actually work which was a little disappointing as I can only understand English so couldn’t watch tv. And also I wasn’t given an email with the codes I needed to get into the building so was waiting outside a while but the person I called was very helpful and helped me out very well so more then happy

PROS AND CONS

Firstly the down side: It was hard to get information about which apartment was mine or how to access the building, which doesn't have a manned reception. I twice had to call the only Swiss number I had on my booking confirmation, as my e-mail to the apartments through hotels.com, went unanswered. In my first call, about a week ahead of my visit. I was assured that I would receive all necessary info, but it didn't come, hence another call the evening before travel. Info then sent and all fine, but the calls cost me £2.00. Also on the down side: Only one tiny piece of soap and small shampoo bottle provided for 5 night stay. One hard and one soft pillow provided - a spare medium pillow would have been useful. The TV ceased to work after the first day (not important for me, but may be an ongoing issue). A floor fan was provided, but it struggled during the very hot period of my stay - extremely humid at night. On the positive side: Very clean apartment with full kitchen facilities and well stocked with utensils. Nice bathroom with excellent shower. Conveniently located for buses and trams. Finally be warned - extremely loud church bells next door at times!!!

Im Sommer nicht zu empfehlen

Gute Lage und moderne Ausstattung. Obwohl die Aussentemperatur tagsüber nur 24 Grad betrug, war es in dem Apartment unangenehm warm. Da keine Klimaanlage vorhanden war das Schlafen nicht erholsam.

Sehr sauber und ordentlich und sehr neu. Das hat man auch am Geruch gemerkt, so dass das Zimmer erstmal durchgelüftet werden musste. Großes Bad mit einer Dusche, in der man genügend Platz hat. CheckIn erfolgte via Code. Leider war in der E-Mail ein zu langer Code und es galten nur die ersten Ziffern. Wenn man das herausgefunden hatte, war alles bestens. Insgesamt sehr gut, top.

Ich habe keinen Zugangscode per Mail zugesendet bekommen und stand vor verschlossenen Türen. Musste da bei einer notfall Hotline anrufen. Der Mann am Telefon war aber sehr nett.

Brand New Modern Comfort

This is our 3rd time staying at Airport Apartments Basel this holiday season. The building is almost brand new and very clean. Each of our rooms has had large windows and were of high quality modern style. The building is located directly across from a large park and close to several grocery stores (Migros & Coop) as well as tram stations. You code to get into the building and apartment and there is no concierge on site, but this has not been a negative for us. We did run out of supplies (coffee, soap, etc.) on our 2nd three-night stay but contacted the management and have been very well stocked this stay. We look forward to staying here in the future.

Very clean and located across large park

The room was very clean with nice amenities. It is brand new with large windows and located right across from a large park. There is no one on site, but this was not a negative for us.

Bad Customer service, Faulty Wifi, nonstop trains

Staying at the Airport Apartments Basel was disappointing. The Wifi never worked throught my whole stay. I called the contact number each day and night to complain and they always replied that a tech will visit the next day. Wifi never worked. The owner of the place seemed to not care about my complain snd his only reply was thst he could fo nothing about it. Another bad point was that the apartment is on the ground floor and the trains are continously passing 20m away from the windows and doors. Very noisy and the vibrations can be felt on the floor. A good point was that the spartment was clean. Im more dissapointed with the customer service rather then the apartment because I never expected it to be much considering its low cost but not having sn internet connection or TV connection for 3 days was miserable.
