The room was very clean and tidy. The bathroom was pristine. Very basic hotel but great for a nights stay over. The communal carpets could do with a deep clean. The staff were lovely.

Good Hotel from Holiday Inns as you would expect from them. However a parking charge of £12.00 a day is in my opinion excessive so will not be staying at this hotel again when visiting Basildon

The cheerful staff at both the reception and restaurant were the only positives. The facility itself needs some renovations. Toilets don't flush properly, and some broken windows and dull exterior. About the worst Holiday Inn I have stayed in, and I have stayed in quite some number!

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Basildon while attending a wedding at Cromwell Manor, which was only about a 10-minute drive away, making it a really convenient location. The hotel has a large car park, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning was a big plus. Breakfast was decent with a good selection, and all the staff we met were friendly and welcoming. The only downside was that the corridor had a bit of an unpleasant smell, but thankfully it didn’t affect the room itself. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and I’d happily stay here again.

The room was great, one of the best holiday Inns I have stayed at. The cleaning staff and reception staff were really helpful and overall I enjoyed my stay. The only downsides I would say are that the bathroom is a little dated compared to the rest of the room and parking was a bit expensive.
