We reserved two accessible rooms which were excellent, both had A/C (as it was very hot in the June heatwave ) We had a lovely evening meal and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The main problem with our stay was the standard of the cooked breakfast. We had to wait quite a time as there wasn’t enough cooked food available and what did come was poorly cooked. Fried eggs in particular. Staff weren’t too interested when asked.

Staff very friendly and professional. Main communal areas are well designed and modern in their decoration. Some areas very tired and very much in need of updating. Room was very clean but carpet worn, bed not very comfortable, light in the bathroom over the bath/shower not working. Water in the bathroom ran warm rather than hot. If you are looking for an affordable base in a good location then this is a good option. However, some more attention needed in bringing all facilities up to the same standard as the communal areas.

Overall excellent service but slightly let down by a lack of staff during the afternoon and evenings over a weekend. Limited menu for the restaurant. Superb breakfast service. Very comfortable and well equipped rooms.

Clean and tidy. Air con in rooms needs work. Weirdly I had to have a single bed, as the rooms were all taken despite checking in at 5pm Is want a problem as in was travelling alone, but made me wonder what the case worked have been if I’d travelled with my partner.

Nice upgraded room but needs a bigger bed. Staff at breakfast were very slow and often nowhere to be seen. Poached eggs took 15 mins and were hard on arrival. Nice hotel, good location, plenty parking. Just needs more attention by breakfast staff!
