「There’s no way we can adequately describe how wonderful a place this is! My husband’s first words were how big the cabin is. Pictures don’t do it justice. It is obviously beautifully and very thoughtfully laid out. There’s the sleeping area, but also a whole living room space as well. We had a good time reading, playing guitar and studying in front of the beautiful window! Loved that we could get up and make a cup of coffee right away without leaving our cabin. 「Perfect house for a group of 7 adults. Lots of comfy seating inside and out on the deck and dock. Well stocked with oil, spices, etc. Master bed was very comfortable. Other beds were OK. Dock area is small and not deep water. That didn't matter to us since we went in September. Wifi was very slow but we had 5 people trying to work so more our fault than the house. Overall, an excellent Lake Gaston rental. 」

We spent the first day and a half of our stay, cleaning the place. It is clear that this property has not been inspected or maintained for cleanliness in a long time.
