"An old building with character. Excellent location next to the railway station. Room was perfectly sufficient to meet the needs for my solo stay. Unusual to have the Continental breakfast left in your hotel room fridge each day, but I was happy with this arrangement. I would stay there again."

"Nice clean room. Really nice helpful staff. Good breakfast with lots of choice. Only reason it wasnt 5 out of 5 is we were not in the main building and touch expensive ….. but maybe that’s just Stamford prices."

"Short walk 5 minute walk into spalding where we enjoyed the Eric and Ern show. Hotel room was spacious with huge comfortable bed,clean crisp sheets, kitchenette facility, big bathroom and high standards of cleanliness throughout. The breakfast was very nice, with plenty of buffet and cooked menu choices. All the staff were helpful and friendly."

"This was a 1-night stay for work. I would not normally stay in hotels at service areas, but this has pleasantly surprised me. The room (139) was on the ground floor and was spacious. Shower and toilet were separate from the basin, which did not bother me. TV and WiFi was good. Bed was comfortable, pillows could have been firmer (personal choice). Shower was okay. There was a large desk area to work at. Value wise it was great for the money. As it was in the service area there were a large number of choices of places to eat at, as well as food being served in the hotel."
