距離港口有段距離
我們是到新加坡玩,住宿在 Swiss-Inn Batam。飯店的所在地距離最近的港口(HourborBay)搭 Taxi 要六塊多美金不算太遠。但是HourborBay到新加坡的船班每天只有四班,不是很方便。另外,飯店附近也沒有很多 Shopping 的地方,大部份時間都在飯店裡面休息。 而飯店本身的設施是非常簡易,健身中心只有三、四台設備,而且有些己經損壞不能使用。所以基本上我們並沒有使用他的健身中心。 Spa 的地方還算可以,只是舒適感不足,整體感覺不好。使用的精油似乎品質不佳,感覺不太洗得掉。 另外值得一提的是,我們沒有攜帶適合當地使用的插座轉換器,飯店人員很貼心的提供我們使用。

The hotel is easy on the wallet and near attractions such as the Grand Batam Mall and Pasar Penuin Wet Market. The hotel staff are generally friendly and helpful especially Adelina who left us with a deep impression of her service-orientedness.

Hotel staff, from bellboy to reception to cleaners, were all very polite and friendly. My standard room has a aircon that was cold and shower head was strong. (both good) But after shower, it will caused a mini flood as there was only a half glass screen. Hotel is very close to Grand Batam Mall, 3 mins walk. As my stay was during CNY, the breakfast was abit of nightmare, hard to get a seat otherwise all good. Overall still recommended.

Overall excellent experience from the staff. Able to converse well in English and Bahasa Indonesia. Breakfast options are very good. Room service options are surprisingly good. My 2 concern is that the wifi connection isn’t smooth and the tv channels are blurry.

It was comfortable and enjoyable. The early morning call was activated using a personal staff knocking on my door. Usually I expect a phone call. Unfortunately, the quilt cover was a bit dirty and toiletries was not refilled on 2nd day.

Property itself no issues, great location beside the Grand Top 100, spacious room. I have booked 2 room, 1 via Agoda and another via Expedia. The superior room thou clean but got a sewer smell, pillow didn't seem clean. The suites is very spacious. Quite upset with the staff service as a day before checkin, they ask us to change my suites to superior at its market rate due to their suites being over booked and say trying to deduct my credit card a day before check in. when my payment supposed to be upon checkin. Worst told me they have the right to cancel my reservation. Outrageous, demand my rights and we got to retain my reservation. Risk to get the reservation cancelled, not sure its them or expedia.

Terrible service! We were supposed to check in at 2pm. However, we were told no booking was done. After some time, then they apologized that they make a mistake. But all fully booked now so we have to wait. In addition, it’s clearly stated in the booking that breakfast it’s included for the 3 days stay. The manager argued that there is no breakfast included! We felt so cheated by this whole experience!

Room registration
I booked 6 rooms but given 5 rooms because they follow the names submitted. I booked 6rooms thinking they will give the rooms as booked and the names can be given on arrival. My friends were made to forgo the room under my name.

The room is clean, staff were friendly and polite. Great location, shopping and eateries are all walking distance. Only improvement is the breakfast, should have more varieties but the coffee is good. Overall is very good, value for money.
