“The property was clean quiet and the staff cooperative.”

“What a wonderful stay we had at the Carriage House Inn! My mom, sister and I were in town for a funeral and we were all able to stay in one spacious king suite, due to the Murphy bed in the kitchen/living room area (with two porches to enjoy, with views of the lovely courtyard). The Inn is right in the middle of town with ample free parking, and free buffet/cooked to order breakfast each morning, all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!”

“Even if the hotel is not the Ritz with all bells and whistles, it is highly recommended to keep it clean. The carpet is smelly, needs serious cleanup. Vacuuming should be done thoroughly, sheets should be replaced by newer ones. Everything looks and feels old. Access to the hotel should be advertised by the curb, I missed the entrance and drove on rt20 up to exit 58 to only return and enter the hidden path to it. The only positive thing was the change of rooms I asked about. Having a knee……

“The room was mostly clean and the hotel looked great. The area was nice and easy to access. Breakfast was sub-par. Everything looked and tasted like it had been re heated. All of the food was cold. The cheese looked like it had been sitting out for days.”

“I always stay at this hotel when I come to visit my family. I have stayed many times. The rooms are always clean and quiet. The breakfast is very good also. Convenient location in the town, close to restaurants.”

“The back door was unlocked, and it doesn't appear that it ever locks, despite the sign indicating that it is always locked. The bed was lumpy, but that could have been the mattress pad. I did not take a shower because there was something that appeared to be mold in the tub. While it could have just been a stain, it did not make me feel that it was safe to use. The food rating on the front door was a B, which leads me to believe eating breakfast there would not be a good idea. I got there very……

“It was a great stay”

“There were no blankets on the bed. Only a sheet and a thin spread on top. I asked at the front desk for one, she looked and came back and said there were none. I ended up going into my car and using my camping blanket. The towels were thin and scratchy, something I would use to wash my car. I don't expect luxury when I stay at a hotel, but this was way subpar.”

“I liked that the floors were hard surfaces and not carpet- that made everything feel cleaner. The bed was very comfortable- but it was very high- I am 5’1” and it was difficult to get into the bed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.”
