Hotel location is excellent, within an easy walk of Bath centre (the walk back is quite a bit harder due to the hills). Staff were excellent, rooms were very nice and well appointed. We had no issue parking, but I assume if the hotel is full, this might be a problem. Great value and should definitely be considered if you're visiting Bath.

Really lovely hotel in a great location. The staff were extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Great choice at breakfast which we really enjoyed. We were worried we would have nowhere to park, but there were plenty of spaces when we arrived.

Beautiful old building and friendly welcome. Staff really helpful and room was spacious with lovely decor and a stunning view across the city and the valley. Peaceful location a mile out of the main centre of Bath, up a hill, but easily reached by regular bus service if arriving by train.

A fantastic stay- so good we wished we had booked for longer. The building is beautiful and has so much character. Staff were lovely and breakfast was delicious. Our room was clean and spacious - a rare treat on our trip! The beds were comfortable and the towel warmer in the bathroom was an unexpected bonus! The layout of the hotel was fine for us- but may be an issue for someone with mobility issues as even though there was a lift for some of the rooms our room still required a series of stairs. The hotel itself is up a fairly steep hill in Bath. But a taxi from the train station was only £10. We also used the bus to get back to our hotel in the evening. We will definitely book here again when we return to Bath.

Have stayed here before. Great to have accessible parking near the hotel on arrival. Staff really attentive and helpful at all times. Delicious breakfast with lots of choices. Handy bus stop into the centre of town so taxis not needed. Always an enjoyable stay.

Very close to bath town centre. Only thing to be mindful is the walk up and down to town and back is very steep. May not be suitable with a pram. There are frequent buses however not far from Hotel and Uber is always another option.
