「When we checked in the reception was nice . The room was comfortable. Breakfast was okay. The owner was not friendly. I could not get any Wifi signal in our room. So bad. Only in the lobby.」

「The room was beautiful, exceptionally clean. The restaurant downstairs was also excellent, although a bit pricey, but that’s Switzerland. The included buffet breakfast was very good.」

「It is a simple but beautiful accommodation in chill neighborhood」

「Wonderful stay in Varzo! Lovely mother and daughter hosts. Delicious homemade breakfast and very comfortable room with a nice view. Right down the hill from San Domenico ski area with excellent scenic hiking. Would recommend Chalet Il Picchio to all!」

Only thing that could be improved is that the pool temperature was not very warm (definitely not 35 degrees), so it was a bit cold for the cool weather.」

「Perfecte plaatje goed hotel vriendelijke eigenaar ik raad iedereen aan 👍」

「Clean room with refrigerator. Spacious . Good location. Can walk to everything. Close to stores and restaurants. 10 minute walk to train station.」

Everything feels surprisingly spacious, probably because the hotel is located in an area that feels more like a commercial or industrial district than the centre of Locarno. The advantage is that there is plenty of space, and this is noticeable throughout the hotel. My room was spacious, very clean...

「Seeblick wahr sehr schön.」
