“Two adults stayed. Used both bedrooms. Very hot but able to open windows. Enjoyed the upstairs outside deck when we were there. Useful having washing machine. Plenty of street parking, but tight spaces & don’t rely on parking directly outside. Bathroom tiny but fit for purpose. Easy walk to beach front. Thank you ”

“We absolutely love Walnut Cottage. It is like a home from home, so cosy and comfortable. The owners and the caretaker are so lovely and helpful. The kitchen has everything we need. We love the fire and the garden and the cottage is beautiful. We always take our dogs and they love it too. Lots of nice walks locally, lots of shops nearby for food shopping and lovely places to visit. The road outside can be busy but inside we don’t notice and the cottage more than makes up for it. We would love……

“Lovely old cottage and we had a great time. There are a few things guests should be aware of. We didn't realise the opening to the bedroom upstairs was only 4 feet 2 height until after booking. We managed but others might not especially if you need to get up in the night- bathroom is downstairs. As 2 guests have to sleep in the annexe 2 keys to the main front door should be provided rather than having to wait for people in main house to get up. Annexe needs a WiFi booster. Plus a small welcome……

“The cottage was beautiful, well equipped, comfy, cosy, well situated and an absolute gem! Go no further than Frinton Escapes! My first time and the cottage was ideal. Close to ALL amenities in a close, so quiet but everything on its doorstep. Great history behind it too. If you do t go, you will be the loser! ”

“Overall good. However it’s worth pointing out the caravan does need a little tlc and the site facilities are very meagre, not that these really affected our personal experience. Owner communicated well, Caravan plot location was great, pleasant neighbours as well. This stay was good for us and our 3 (little) dogs. ”

“We had a great stay. The property is spacious and comfortable and well fitted out with everything you need for home comforts. The location is great just a 15 minute to the beach and town while being closely located to a friendly pub and a Co-op and a tesco store for all of your groceries. Parking for a single car on the drive and street parking. We were very pleased with our choice of accomodation”
