"When you book to stay at a characterful historical manor house, you better believe that what you're looking for is Character, History, and a beautiful experience. This is not a sterile chain, or a boutique hotel. It is a gorgeous piece of history, and to stay in a room there is like staying with friends (who happen to have a stunning manor). Saying that, the bathrooms are also modern and well equipped so there's no antiquated plumbing to contend with either! The dining room is stunning and we opted to eat there in the evening, which we highly recommend - we feasted on locally foraged veg with perfectly cooked duck, home grown baked figs, and a super authentic tarte tatin. We couldn't eat another bite! Breakfast was beautiful too and the owner very pleasant and helpful. HIGHLY recommend."

"Bucolic Beauty in Burgundy We spent a wonderful week with Damien, in the hamlet of 'Fin', just outside Saizy. The room and shared facilities were all clean. Wifi internet worked well. Damien is a genial, generous host who knows a lot about famous Burgundy cuisine and wine. There's well-grounded rumors that he's a good cook--and an even better baker. The farm and its yard are great for relaxing and offer wonderful countryside vistas. Merci beaucoup Damien! We'll definitely come back."

"Notre séjour en famille c'est bien passé... nous étions 22, la maison était suffisamment grande. Toutes les chambres avaient leurs propres salle de bain, ce qui était très pratique. Nous aurions aimé un accueil un tout petit peu plus chaleureux même si nous savons que Christelle a beaucoup de travail. Si vous êtes à la recherche de calme, et si vous voulez passer des vacances sans prise de tête, c'est l'endroit idéal ! Nous recommandons."

"Het is een ruime woning, die goed voorzien is. Rustig gelegen in het bos, vlakbij het leuke stadje Lormes, waar van alles te doen is. Er is een supermarkt, op donderdag is er markt, er wordt veel georganiseerd op het gebied van muziek en kunst. De gastvrouw is erg vriendelijk en snel in de communicatie. En de Morvan is een prachtige streek met veel natuur en met vele leuke stadjes. Wij hebben een erg fijn verblijf gehad."
