This apartment is a clean, comfortable, light and airy haven to relax in. It has a private entrance and fenced back yard to enjoy outside, vaulted ceilings, comfortable beds, and a great room including full kitchen as well as laundry room with washer, dryer, deep sink and roomy counter for clothes folding.
Just minutes from Death Valley National Park, it’s perfect for desert adventures. A front deck gives a panoramic view of our small town, the surrounding mountains and exquisite stargazing.

I'm only leaving this review because I understand that the owner left me a negative review, and I want to explain the circumstances. We planned to visit Death Valley National Park, and Beatty, NV. is one of the closest places to stay. When we arrived, we found that Beatty is a town in distress, and the VRBO property reflected that. This is not meant as a criticism, but we chose not to stay there. We asked the owner if he would refund one of the two nights that we paid for. He refused, and we didn't pursue it. I understand that, but I don't really understand what he's complaining about, since we paid him for both nights, and I wouldn't have left this review, except I wanted to explain the circumstances to counter the negative review that he apparently left us.
