「We booked this stay for our elderly parents, while the stairs were a challenge, they were manageable. Spacious bedrooms and cozy common areas in this 1810 guest cottage. Hosts were readily available and prompt to respond to requests. At our parents request, we would definitely book again next time they visit.」

「Arrived and got in to the house without a problem. I really liked the screen in back porch. Everything was there, just as it said in the listing. The only issue that I have are the pillows. Very thin. If possible, bring your own. I would definitely stay here again.」

「Property was exactly as it was advertised. Can tell that it had recently been renovated and inside was very comfortable. One of the reasons we went with this property was because it was dog friendly. With all the remodeling being done, there was a bunch of building material in the backyard, and we had to make sure the dog wasn't getting into anything it shouldn't. All in all, the house was perfect for what we needed for one night.」

「This is a wonderful place to stay! It’s so spacious, clean, newly remodeled and stocked with everything you need and more. We were in awe of the amazing daytime and evening vistas of the water. You can relax and take in the views from the screened in deck, the outside deck and from the beach chairs along the waters edge. We caught fish from the pier in the back yard and also took the ferry adjacent to the house to fish and explore the Emerald Isle/Morehead City area. 」

「What a comfortable and warm place! Our host was most responsive to questions and issues before and after the stay. The house was in perfect condition. It was so nice to get into a house that literally felt like our family home after a long day of transcontinental travel. So much nicer than the nicest hotel room for sure. Everything was there that we might have needed and many nice surprises from the host when we arrived also.The location is perfect - close to the historic downtown New Bern...
