CYPRESS COVE: Perfect for Parris Island Graduation!

About a mile to Parris Island, Centrally located in Beaufort next to restaurants, beaches & local shopping all in a small country setting. Smoke-Free Home! Ranch style, open floor plan.
NO PETS ALLOWED. I do have another home near by that is pet friendly, just ask. Park & tennis courts are also in walking distance. Fishing and boat dock is less than one mile. We rent out our kayaks! 45 minutes from Savannah Airport & 90 minutes from Charleston Airport. No parking on grass! Blocking or disconnecting cameras or sensors is grounds for immediate removal without refund.

Repass Celebration

We rented Clarissa’s place to host our mother’s repass. The place was very clean and beautiful. There was more than enough space for our guest and caterer. We will plan to rent again on her one year anniversary.

Just right for Labor Day

Booked this to spend Labor Day weekend with our USCB student. Property was convenient and in a quiet neighborhood but within 15 minutes of downtown Beaufort and 30 minutes to Tanger Outlets Hilton Head. Communication with the host was very responsive. Great kitchen and plenty of other gathering space with open concept. Plenty of room for a larger family group. Master and bedroom 2 are a little small but adequate considering. Bunk room is large. Bathrooms are very nice. Also good outdoor space with a deck shaded for most of the day by trees, grass area, and a covered grill area with additional seating. Our college student loved it and we give it high marks.

Great location for Parris Island

This was a PERFECT location for watching my son graduate USMC boo camp at Parris Island. Only a few miles from base and very simple trip to get there. House was great and clean. Large backyard to sit and relax and plenty of space inside. We really enjoyed the stay.

The house was great for our needs. The family loved the deck and the back yard. Clarissa was excellent to work with and extremely responsive. Dale the maintenance man stopped by just to make sure everything was going well with the house. Great stay and vacation!

Parris Island Graduation

My family stayed here so they could attend the graduation ceremony at the Recruit Depot. The property was just a few minutes away which was very convenient. The house and grounds were super clean. The backyard was peaceful, and the 5 year old loved the swing. Clarissa responded immediately to all inquiries. Highly recommend this property, especially if you have business on Parris Island.

We had an overall terrible experience with this property. We would not recommend this to anyone!

We had issues with the booking from the very beginning. It was an instant booking and we weren't familiar with that option. We were under the impression that there is always a time for review for the owner and a time period of accepting the applicant and/or renter. I have always done a request to book in the past and this was just an instant booking. I tried to cancel the booking on the Vrbo site and it just referred me to the owner with cancellation questions. I tried to do this pretty quickly after I booked the property. I also discussed the fact that it was instantly booked for one week and that I had just learned that my son had to be back home 10 days prior to resuming school after the holidays to quarantine from travel due to covid. I discussed all of this with the owner and she kept referring me back to the booking platform and pretty much said that theres nothing she could do. But the booking platform referred me to contact her, the owner. I was not getting anywhere with the issues at hand. This was very disappointing and my husband and myself decide to only stay for three days due to our son and suffer the charges. But then we continued having issues when we arrived to the home. The minute we walked inside the home, it smelled musty. Almost like it had been closed up for a very long time or there was possibly a mold issue. My husband went straight into the kitchen to wash his hands and could not find a dish towel to dry his hands off with. When I looked in a drawer in the island, I found a very wet, scratchy, microfiber towel. It felt like it just came out of the washer and was placed in the drawer. This set us into an even more of a frustration. Next, we looked through the bedrooms and found that the sheets were dirty. The mattress cover had dirt on it and looked like it was used. The pillows had hair on them and dirt, as if they were used and never washed. The next thing we noticed was that the shower had lots of built up dust on the ledge. The kitchen floor had not been swept or mopped and there was food on the floor. I did take pictures of these issues for further use, if needed. Also, the doors to the entrance and the walls were very dirty. It looked almost like there had been animals scratching at the doors with muddy paws. We decided that it would be best to book a hotel and leave the home. We didn't spend more than twenty minutes in the home and have major doubts about using Vrbo in the future.

Absolutely charming and enjoyable

Our hosts, Clarissa was a joy to work with. I made a mistake with my original reservation, and she was more than willing to accommodate our stay. The home was in a well-established neighborhood. The aesthetics and features of the home were well represented by the pictures on VRBO (KUDOS). I would recommend this charming and enjoyable home to any traveler.

Great accommodations!

This property was a perfect place to stay for a weekend getaway! The owner was so accommodating to our situation and responsive as well. The whole property was exactly as pictured. The grill, fire pit, and large kitchen were all great places to entertain. Thank you very much and I highly recommend this property!

Great for friends and family!

We were hesitant on staying given the previous reviews of the property, but were very pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the property. The home smelled clean as soon as you entered the door. A quick walkthrough showed the appliances were sparkling with no signs that anyone had even stayed in the home previously. The home was spacious, recently well updated, and stocked with amenities to make our stay very comfortable like wifi, laundry detergent, cups, plates, and basic cleaning supplies. The TV's even had streaming available for the kids to pick their favorite cartoons to keep them occupied. The property seemed well represented by the photos online and ended up being better than I thought with a nice kitchen and beautifully tiled bathrooms. It is in a great location close to restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations, but don't expect to walk anywhere except around the neighborhood. Good quiet neighborhood with limited traffic. My only negative for the property was with the mattress in the master bedroom as it is due for replacement given the lack of form to it once someone lays down. Given the option, we would most definitely stay in this home again and encourage others to contact the property owner with questions before basing a potential booking on these negative reviews.

I was disappointed in my overall experience. The floors were not cleaned. We had to wipe Everything down before we felt comfortable. There were lots of bugs. Also the backyard was not how it looked in the pictures.

The house was decorated nice but concerns with cleanliness and upkeep of items.

The house appeared clean on the surface but there was a plate of moldy food in the microwave and marijuana was found in the bedroom, both indicating to me that a thorough cleaning was not done, especially during the pandemic virus. We did bring our own cleaners. We could not get the dishwasher or front door lock pad to work. Consequently, we had to hand wash items and were unable to lock the property when we wanted to go out. We planned a cook out and selected a property with the grill. We were unable to have the cook out due to the condition of the grill. We lit it and were concerned about a fire / safety hazard, so we turned it off - it was causing so much smoke that we were concerned somebody was going to call the fire department. The property manager responded quickly to my emails, but that did not resolve the issues. She did ask if our sleep plans were okay with a bed that needed maintenance. The house had adequate sleep areas with the bedrooms and couches. We enjoyed our family time together, but I don't recommend the property at this time. It was not worth what we paid for it and for our intended activities. We bought spray for a wasp nest and for biting insects and pulled some poison ivy out.
