Welcome to Sirene de la Mer! This beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is very popular with great reviews and we are excited to share it with you. Enjoy gorgeous ocean views from every room, the living room, all 3 bedrooms, the wrap-around screened porch and 2 open decks. A shore bird rookery behind the house completes the beautiful views from this home. Beach access is a few steps away.
The living room is newly decorated with new furniture, window treatments and artwork. It is a bright and comfortable space to gather with family and friends. There is a dining table for 6 and a well-equipped kitchen.
The spacious first-floor master has a king size bed with new linens and an en- suite bath. There is also access to the screened porch. There are 2 large bedrooms upstairs. One has a queen size bed and a set of bunk beds. The other has a queen size bed with access to one of the open-air decks. There is a full bath on the 2nd floor. Each bed has new linens and there are fluffy towels in each bath. Other amenities include 3 flat screen televisions with cable, dvd player, washer/dryer, and an outdoor shower with hot and cold water.
In the fenced backyard, there is a wooden deck with, gas grill, picnic table, seating and with great views of the rookery.
The screened in porch has multiple ocean views as well as a view of the rookery where migrating birds nest in the fall along with our local fine feathered friends. There are rocking chairs and a pair of wicker chairs on the porch where you can relax and enjoy the scenery.
While staying on Harbor Island, you can also enjoy the amenities at the Beach and Racket Club. There are 2 pools, tennis, pickle ball, basketball and sand volleyball courts as well as an area to practice chipping for golfers. Two cruiser bikes are included and more bicycles are available for rent at the beach and racket club. .
There is so much to enjoy on gated Harbor Island and it is convenient to Charleston, Savannah, Hilton Head and Parris Island. It is truly a hidden gem in the beautiful low country. Historic and lovely Beaufort, SC is a short drive away with lots to do. It offers beautiful antebellum homes, antique shops, restaurants, a gorgeous harbor walk, and much more.
Less than a mile from the gate to Harbor Island is Hunting Island State Park with much to do and see from pristine beaches to an historic lighthouse to natural landscape with trails and marsh boardwalks to explore. Our house rental includes a pass to visit Hunting Island. Please return this pass to the house to avoid a $100.00 fee.
Golf and deep sea fishing are nearby as well.
Harbor Island is a private, gated community with 24/7 security.
We offer discounts for monthly rentals and snowbirds are welcome.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Sirene de la Mer is our home and while we are happy to share it with you we ask that you please treat it kindly. Please avoid causing damage. We have to charge a $300.00 security deposit which will be refunded in the case of a damage free inspection.
Smoking is prohibited anywhere on our property and pets and parties are not allowed. The homeowners association may charge fees for parties and we may charge damage and cleaning fees.
The island charges for a parking pass to the island per car. While the rates are subject to change, they currently are: $10 per night plus $10. For example a seven night stay would be $80. These are subject to change so owner will communicate fee to you.
We must charge a $175.00 cleaning fee per stay.
We also own a 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa that is ocean front, sleeps 6, and is all on one floor.
