Owner canceled reservation morning of check in
We were confirmed to stay friday-sunday. Monday host asked "you have dogs?" I responded yes 2 medium sized well behaved. Heard nothing back paid the pet fee. The morning of checkin i received an email our reservation was canceled breaking house rules which the listing said pets allowed pet friendly and details shows pet fee required. Host claims to have called with vrbo on the line multiple times which isnt true i checked missed and spam calls also have communicated through email successfully so if she were trying to reach me she should have emailed communicating that. She then sends info into vrbo stating broke house rules that the rule is 1 dog under 25 lbs (she changed the listing morning of and vrbo confirmed that). Host stalked my Facebook profile and submitted pictures of my dogs which i would have happily sent IF she asked. She then blames it all on vrbo claiming she had nothing to do with it. Terrible experience, terrible communication and even worse customer service. Save your time and frustration book elsewhere
