Your staff were very warm, courteous, and helpful. However, the hotel’s décor, furniture, and bathroom tiles are quite tired, with chipped grout and visible wear. The hotel has wonderful charm and character, and a thoughtful facelift could refresh the property while preserving its unique appeal.

Great location in town. The room was spacious in a newer annexe of the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel building is old and shows the charm of a small European boutique hotel. Breakfast was buffet style and costs extra. Selections were adequate and good. If you are in Beaune for the winery visit - this is the place to stay.

This was a lovely hotel that dates back to 16th century, but has been upgraded for modern amenities. The staff was absolutely wonderful in every way, and the room we stayed was very comfortable. The air-con had trouble keeping up with the July heat, but we were very satisfied sleeping at night. The restaurant attached to the hotel served us a delicious meal our first night. We could not have asked for a better stay in Beaune.

The rooms were quite large and nicely appointed. There was some kind of promotional event on at the hotel and I found our service was impacted several times at the bar as clearly the staff were catering to what looked to be influencers or reviewers. Another example was that when I was waiting for my husband to complete a call in our room, I inquired about getting some food at the bar and was told they only offered room service, which could not be delivered to the tables in the courtyard - literally right outside of our room. The manager rather curtly told me to just go get a reservation next door and 5 minutes later a couple walked by and thanked him for arranging their dinner there. We had also watched someone have food delivered to them at the bar the previous evening. Overall not the level of service I expected from the hotel as it seemed hit and miss.
