Family friendly, historical building right in the center of town!

A lovely light filled apartment, right in the very heart of town with views of the historic streetscape. Built in 1856, the “Hive Apartment” by Beechworth Honey is situated in the former bank managers residence of the bank of New South Wales. Fully self contained, you will have everything you need in your home away from home. You will not get a location any better than this for exploring the heart of Beechworth's retail and historic complexes.
Please note there is a steep flight of stairs.

Great Apartment

This place is really cool location and the old building vibe is great when staying in such a historic town. A bit of road noise in the morning, which is unavoidable in the middle of town. Apartment itself is pretty funky and nicely appointed, large beds were super comfy as well as great pillows.

Mid week break in beechworth

Location was excellent. Perfect for walking to all the eating, drinking and shopping spots in Beechworth. Beds were lovely and comfortable. Bathrooms modern and water was hot. The only drawback was the very steep stairs to access the apartment, and a few interior steps. Otherwise highly recommended

Weekend stay

Beautiful apartment in a great location. Walking distance to most attractions and free parking nearby. We loved the little gifts including crumpets, juice, milk and butter in the fridge and fresh fruit and honey on the bench! There was also a great coffee machine with beans ready to use. On the weekend that we booked our stay, there was a big storm and a blackout that took out half of Beechworth. Unfortunately the apartment was effected, through no fault of the host. The host was extremely attentive and offered us another b&b to spend time in and have showers and charge our phones while we waiting for the electricity to come back on. All while attending to their shop which had flooded with the storm. She did everything she could to make our stay as comfortable as possible in the circumstances. Thanks for a great stay, highly recommend and hoping to rebook in the future!

A Must Stay

We had a fantastic weekend literally in the heart of Beechworth at this wonderful accommodation. 6 family members met up for a long overdue reunion and the facility met all of our needs. The property is spacious, clean, VERY well appointed and best of all, right in the middle of Beechworth. We hung up the car keys when we arrived and didn't touch them again until departure. Everything the town has to offer is well within walking distance. Communication with the owner was excellent and the check-in instructions were clear and precise. We would highly recommend these digs to all. We will definitely rebook if coming back to Beechworth.

The Hive

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Hive. Brooke was wonderful and very easy to communicate with. The location was perfect, plenty of parking close by. The apartment was very clean and bright. Loved the jar of honey and fresh bread on arrival. Definitely recommend the stay.

THE HIVE WAS ALL A BUZZ

The Hive was the perfect stay for our group of three couples. It is the perfect location for a stay in Beechworth. After a long drive from Queensland we parked our cars up and then explored the town on foot. Great accessibility to all that Beechworth has to offer. Plenty of space and comfort as well everything we required for a enjoyable holiday.
