The property is beautiful with wonderful views of the mediterranean and the staff's attitude a service was exceptional. On the other side, it is the only hotel in the world that i visited that will charge you extra for coffee on a paid breakfast which was OK (not great) and they say parking is available but when you arrivee you get surprised is for $5 per day !!!! I dont have a problem of paying for parking if they were transperent on the website (here i felt cheated).

It seemed that Property management has changed from last year where it was much better and client friendly. Less cleaning crew to clean pool area especially inside, hotel rooms are not well maintained.

First they ask u to park the car by yourself ,carry your bags and u should also pay for the parking. 2nd the reception doesn’t give u options and they just say if u want to cancel u loose the money which you have paid this is the only thing they were repeating even the upgrade option with additional payment was not available. Mosquito all over the place even the room. Unfriendly staff Breakfast was a really bad choice all cups are dirty and no variety in food tables and floor is so dirty. TV was not working well and we called the Tec twice. Wedding party till 1:30 AM noisy so we’ve missed the chance to sit inside because of the TV and outside because of the wedding. Some restaurants in the same hotel doesn’t Have the option to add the payment to the room So u should hold cash all time

Dear Valued Guest, We thank you for your comment following your stay with us and indeed it is our pleasure having you as our valued guest during your stay in our hotel though it is with much regret to know that we were not able to meet your expectations. There are a couple of things that we would like to highlight. With regards to parking service, we have two options: self park with half price or valet service with normal price! Moreover, regarding cancellation policy, as a hotel we are flexible to cancel but you did not reserve directly with us, hence we should follow the policy of the partner you booked with, if you did a non refundable reservation you will loose the money if you cancelled. As for the upgrade, it is an option upon availability. Your comments are well received and will not be taken lightly, we apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused. Breakfast not at 7AM
They tell you beakfast starts at 7AM. One day came down at 7:30 and they were not even ready to start breakfast, they were just starting to put out the food ad the chef showed up at 7:50. We had to leave for work or else we would be late.

Review of Africana resort, Alexandria
Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. With a restaurant, cafe and two other bars there was plenty of choice. The room was clean and spacious. There was good wireless internet reception throughout the complex. Would definitely stay here again.
