"Character hotel built in 1933 with small rooms but lots of common areas (games room, library, pool room sitting rooms etc) Small issues with the plumbing but Enjoyed using the pool table which had all the required equipment and was in good condition. Breakfast buffet was quite adequate. Staff friendly and helpful. Central CBD location with easy walk to shops and restaurants. Car park was a big tight but the EV charger was excellent."

"This is an outstanding property, absolutely beautifully presented. Long way from shops so perhaps a little more advice about taking provisions for at least your first meal. Cooking facilities all there. Fire place with wood supplies left ready was a wonderful bonus.We found Lithgow was easier for shopping than Blackheath. We were there to visit Mt Tomah Botanical Gardens we also did the ZigZag rail train. Good location for both these options."
