This cozy retreat, once an old farmhouse, features 1 bedroom with a queen bed, 1 half bath and one full bathroom with shower, and an additional living room space with 2 twin beds. Guests can enjoy free WiFi, AC, and heating during their stay. The wide covered porch is the perfect peaceful spot to sit and drink your morning coffee. Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway to sit and watch the wildlife, pick dewberries in late April, or a home base for exploring the area (including a 15 minute drive to Round Top), this lovely cottage has everything you need. We had the sweetest stay at Dewberry Cottage while in town for the Round Top Antique Market. It’s such a darling little cottage tucked out in the country—comfortable, quaint, and wonderfully quiet.One of our favorite parts was coming back in the evenings to be greeted by Ruby, the cutest dog, who would wait by the gate and then run ahead of our car to lead us back to the cottage. It made us smile every time. In the mornings, we loved seeing the cows just beyond the fence, peeking at us through the bushes—it added to the peaceful, country charm.Check-in and check-out were super easy. The shower had great water pressure and stayed nice and hot, which we really appreciated after long days of shopping. Our host was incredibly responsive, kind, and hospitable, making everything easy and welcoming from start to finish.We truly loved our stay and would happily come back again!

We loved our stay at Dewberry Hill Cottage! Emily has thought of every detail! The house was spotless, clean and decorated so cute. The AC worked great and we were nice and cool. We loved sitting on the porch sipping our coffee in such a peaceful, serene setting. We even saw some deer and rabbits! Emily was quick to respond when we had questions and even suggested some great restaurants. We spent 2 days exploring the cute little towns of Bellville, Brenham and Round Top. They were adorable with so many fun shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back and can't wait to stay at Dewberry Hill cottage again!

This is such a perfect getaway for a girl’s weekend! The house was tucked away in a clearing behind a security gate and was incredibly peaceful. The wide, covered porch became our favorite spot—perfect for sipping morning coffee and a glass of wine in the evening. The layout is spot-on also; there was plenty of room for us to relax with comfortable beds and a great kitchen that we used for breakfast and dinner. It’s August in Texas, so the fantastic A/C was not taken for granted either. A huge bonus is the location; we were within 20 minutes of the Round Top Antique Festivals, Fayetteville (SUCH good restaurants) and even took a few hours to wander around Brenham’s downtown area. The host Emily was so cheerful and sweet, and answered all of our questions really quickly and with suggestions on our day trips that were all amazing! We wanted a weekend that was relaxing but also wanted to explore the area, and she was able to point us in the right direction.We plan on coming back and using it as a home base for the fall Round Top festival- being able to escape the crowds at the end of the day would be ideal!
