"We really appreciated the fact that we could check in early and also the breakfast was great. Upon checking in, we were told that the room had a kitchen area with a large fridge, but no stove (which was fine - we weren't cooking anyways), but what was strange was there was no bathroom sink or mirror in the bathroom. To get ready in the morning you had to use the kitchen sink and the mirror in the room was about 3' feet away from the sink."

The Great Escape Sleeps 10 Comfortably (6 beds) & Awesome Lake Views!

"This was our first family get-away to Clear Lake. We had our grandchildren with us and the location was perfect. The beach area and playground were amazing and the dock availability made loading the boat a breeze. The home was perfect. Plenty of room for all of us and great deck space to enjoy time outdoors as well. Michelle was amazing and replied quickly to all emails! We also enjoyed being able to walk to the Tiki for dinner and a short drive for ice cream! Our entire stay was fantastic. I highly recommend!"

"We've rented a few places in clear lake over the years, and this is by far the best property to date. Location is fantastic, just a 5 min walk from the town center. Its fully upgraded with expected amenities, without losing the small town Iowa feel. Had some issues with the microwave not working, but communication with the owner was super easy and options were given to rectify the situation. I'll definitely look here first for our next summer getaway to Clear Lake!"

"A reasonable place to stay for basic lodging. 1 room was very clean, one not so much. Beds were fine for short (1 night stay). A little softer than referred. We were in town for a funeral, this hotel fit our needs. Staff were fairly responsive. The breakfast was bare basics but adequate."

Clear Lake Vacation Rental: Walk to Town / Beach!

"This was a great place to stay. We were here for the July 4th weekend and we were able to walk to everything rather than drive and have to look for parking. I would say it is 4 blocks to City Park. The property is beautifully updated and has plenty of sleeping space. The public access to the lake is at the end of the street and so handy. We had everything we needed. I didn’t have reason to reach out to our host. I would stay again."
