「We welcomed the useful car park with my daughter’s pending wedding and ease of access to town. Room was clean but very hot although fan was provided but noisy overnight and didn’t rotate & only one window opened - Despite this and noisy guests in proximity - everything else was good. Breakfast and staff were helpful and especially at breakfast the staff member was pleasant and I noted took time to talk to guests and was very amenable. Thank you for a good stay prior to wedding. 😊」

「Roads were very narrow getting to the hotel. Give yourself plenty of time! Bathroom not great, bodged fixtures.」

「Excellent property in a superb location. Only a few minutes walk to town through a lovely woodland. It accommodated 4 adults and two dogs perfectly. The host was exceptional with thier preparation of the property and it was faultless for our needs. Highly recommended for time spent in Belper or the wider region.」

「The Accommodation was very clean and modern. The staff were lovely and helpful and the breakfast was amazing」

「Recommend. Would stay again definitely」

「The staff at The Bear Inn are terrific: it’s a family-run business and nothing was too much trouble. Check-in was easy and, although we originally planned to stay for a couple of days, we were made so welcome, decided to stay for two more. Our day always started with an excellent and leisurely breakfast which really set us up...
