“I only stayed for one night but wishing I stayed for longer now! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Absolutely loved the space, the bedroom was comfortable and clean, and gave a very homey b&b feeling. I took transit and found it fairly straightforward to get to. And its an easy walk to the Tennyson monument! Would definitely recommend!”

“From arrival to departure Jonathan, Melissa and Magnus (The Dog) were the most wonderful hosts. We stayed in the Fat Badger Hut which was absolutely stunning, the bed was the cosiest thing ever and the room was well decorated. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The little things including the beautifully lit garden with fairy lights and water features plus our hosts hospitality was unquestionably outstanding. This was a truly perfect staycation. We will definitely be going back. ”

“Mike & Mandy are the perfect hosts. An incredibly nice couple. We had the room at the top of the house which meant having the whole floor including a 5 star bathroom. Be warned, this room only suitable if you're OK with steep stairs, but hugely worth the climb if you can. Every detail is taken care of. An excellent stay and we will be returning.”

“The hotel looked lovely but unfortunately we didn't get to stay. Turned up to find hotels.com had not passed out booking into hotel so left with nowhere to stay in remote countryside. I'd recommend the eco lodge - staff were lovely but not hotels.com -it took almost a month to get a refund only by going via my bank's anti fraud process.”
