Our cabin is a great location to be close to the Ricketts Glen waterfalls and to also relax in the woods. We have a beautiful covered porch to sit and unwind. If you would rather enjoy a nice fire. We have a rustic field stone fire pit.

  • The best hike if you like waterfalls, to be precise there are 22 of them. To see them all you will have to hike for about 7 miles. Dog friendly. I highly recommend you won't regret it! The hike is not very difficult, with accessional hikes up and down, but it is long considering that you will stop to admire and take pictures at most of the waterfalls. Bring lunch, snack and water if you planning to see all 22 waterfalls.

Great secluded location off the main road. There is one other viewable cabin. Easy drive to Ricketts Glen State Park with the lower end Falls Trail just down the road a few or a 10 minute drive up the mountain to the main park entrance. Driveway entrance was always a bit difficult to see, but Ricketts Glen Hotel being across the street helped with locating. Main road is fairly flat with 55 mph speed limit so caution should be taken when looking for driveway entrance. Wi-Fi was not mentioned, but nice surprise and very helpful for stay. Roku TV now instead of video library. Cabin is comfortable for a couple and two kids or three adults max; otherwise, I feel it would be too much for this small, cozy cabin. Hope to stay here again in two years when I expect a need to stay in area again.

Everything was great. The cabin was definitely tucked away. Fire pit was ready to be used, so was the grill. Everything was clean. Plenty of stuff in the kitchen to be able to use the kitchen. Top marks all around.

The cabin is simple and compact but had everything that we needed…bedrooms, bathroom, full kitchen and comfortable living room. The property is gorgeous (tree canopy and ferns as the understory) and the fire pit (with ample wood provided!) was perfect for a relaxing evening after visiting 30 waterfalls in 1 day (53 waterfalls in 3 days). The house is convenient to Ricketts Glen State Park and Red Rock Scoops, which has great ice cream with some unique flavors for a reward after our long hikes.

Beautiful cabin. Not huge, but not too small either. Very clean and well-maintained. Property is quiet and secluded, but also very close to Rickett's Glen, country store and variety of dinner options. Try the fish and chips at Crooked Creek. 10/10! Burger and waffle fries were fantastic also. Had to cut our trip short but will be coming back soon. And Jeff, the host, is a pleasure to deal with.

This place had everything you would want in a cabin. It had party lights strung up outside a huge fire pit and outdoor picnic grill. Outdoor seating on the front porch a beautiful trail in the woods. It was perfect.

Very nice cabin in the woods. Nice fire pit we brought our own wood so we didn’t have to pay extra. Make sure you bring your own BLANKETS sheets and towels. Beds are not comfortable and bunk beds make a-lot of noise. Owner is quick to respond.
