Awful experience

This property is not suitable for rental. The owner had only left the property shortly before we arrived, the owners things were all still left out, the property was not clean, the shower didn't work, the heating didn't work.We had to leave after 1 night, the owner offered to reimburse our second night cost but has refused to communicate and has not done as we agreed.This was an terrible experience and we were forces to book a hotel nearby after stayingfor 1 night only.This property is not suitable for rental

A nightmare experience

I made the reservation, sent a text via VRBO to the owner to let him know that I was making the reservation for my son and his 4 friends, paid for the apartment, and got confirmation. But, on the day of check-in, we were never able to make contact with the owner despite multiple calls and texts. And then while I was on the phone with VRBO customer service, the owner suddenly canceled the reservation over an hour after we were to have checked in. My son and his friends who had just traveled for 8 hours and were already exhausted were left with no place to go for another several hours. And I spent many hours that day arranging the first night’s hotel and then had to find another place for them to stay for the rest of the time. This was right in the middle of an intense work week for me. And I still have to take time to try to get reimbursed from VRBO for the expenses! It was a nightmare and has made me rethink ever using these kinds of owner-rented services again! So it is rather ironic that after all that I got an email from VRBO to rate our stay!!??!!

Gut aber Ausbaufähig

Jan hat sich als Gast sehr bemüht auch wenn er nur telefonisch erreichbar war. Teilweise unser früheres Ankommen hatte dabei mitgetragen das die Wohnung nicht vollständig aufgeräumt war. Trotzdem unser Aufenthalt war gut und konnten die Stadt Berlin genießen. An der Reinigung der Unterkunft sollte man etwas mehr investieren, damit das Objekt auch eine höhere Bewertung bekommt!

Berlin in a Nutshell

Die Parksituation in Charlottenburg (wahrscheinlich aber wie in ganz Berlin) ist eher schwierig, die 20 Euro Parkhausgebühr pro Tag sollte man noch einplanen. Ansonsten ist die Gegend super, wenn man Abends noch etwas unternehmen will. Kulinariach ist so ziemlich alles vorhanden sowohl zum Frühstück als auch Abendessen. Der Vermieter ist super nett und steht jederzeit für Rückfragen zur Verfügung.
