Perfect Location

This was a great stay as we were traveling through Switzerland on our way to France. Amazing location, as the train station is right outside the door, and there is direct access to the mall for eating and shopping. The room was very nice and clean, and the staff are super friendly!

The room was good. The access to the Aqua Park is a highlight. It's next to a mall so quite convenient if you want to do some shopping. Also not far for the city center, easily accessible by tram.

Hotel ok, rooms very small, ours didn't have the right beds on check in. Clean and tidy, can also use the pools and spa in the Westside resort which is really good- Bernaqua if people are interested, great for kids

Next to the Bern Westside mall and the train station. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely consider this hotel again if we go back to Bern. The train ride from main Bern station to Bern Westside is short. Definitely take advantage of the Bern visitor card the hotel gives you! Excellent location and the staff are sooo wonderful!

What can you say. Got to be best place to stay. Got everything for everyone. Transport links are superb and free as part of hotel. Having a mall next door awesome. And the waterpark, got to be best, love the salt water immersion pool

We enjoyed staying at this Holiday Inn. Their front office staff are great but Serena is amazing. Any question I had she answered thoroughly and she anticipated our next leg and had samples waiting for us to choose the trains we liked best and their departure times. It made it so easy to book the correct train and time. I asked if there was ice and she said no but got a bag of ice for us each day we were there. She went above and beyond everyday and never tired of us asking questions. She is a huge benefit to Holiday Inn. Her outstanding service makes me want to stay there every time we go to Switzerland.

Comfortable hotel with a perk!

Our family of 6 enjoyed staying at the Bern-Westside Hotel. It's comfortable, clean, and attached to a mall, and we received a 3-hour ticket to enjoy daily the Bernacqua Water Park located inside the mall. The kids and I had a blast! Public transportation to Bern’s Old Town is plenty and about 20 minutes. We recommend this hotel! PS: the only downside is that we requested foldable beds for our rooms to accommodate 2 children (16 and 11 years old) and the hotel staff said that it was not possible. When we got there, there were 2 foldable beds in two of the 3 rooms that we have booked. Thus, we booked unnecessarily the third room after the staff said that each room could accommodate only 2 guests.

Not worth the money

The first room shower drain didn't work and nearly floodwd the bathroom. The 2nd room had no soap in the dispensers and the air conditioner was stuck at 25 C (very uncomfortable unless you like to sleep naked without blankets). Staff was sympathetic but in the end nothing they ckuld do and was too late in the evening to change rooms again. Hotel manager reached out after comment sent to Corporate and insulted my ability to operate an air conditioner rather than try to remediate the issue. NOT worth the 200 CHF for the room, restaurant was really nice but expensive too. 80 CHF for 2 Chicken Caesar Salads and 2, 100ml glasses of wine.

Ideal hotel for visiting Bern

The hotel staff is very friendly and professional. Our room was basic but clean with a comfortable bed, excellent shower, free WIFI, and small flatscreen TV. Dogs are allowed. The hotel has a parking garage that can be reached by an elevator and is connected to a shopping mall. Free public transportation is offered direct to and from Bern city (~20 minutes). We had a great time and will be back!

Was a great stay for 2 nights. Had no clue we got access to the waterpark attached to the shopping Centre there so that was a bonus for the kids. Rooms were clean and quiet. Had an issue with a leak from our AC dropping onto the floor but staff were quick to offer us a change of rooms. She even found us in the restaurant to bring us the key and explain what happened. Easy parking in the shopping Centre lot underground as well. Definitely recommend.

The highlight of our stay was service from staff. Everyone is really warm, welcoming and helpful. Location is very convenient as just opposite a tram and train station. Hotel has a tie-up with Bernaqua which is really nice. Hotel is attached to a mall so ample options for food and drinks. Pictures on Expedia were misleading and the standard room is very crammed especially if one need an extra cot. Even executive rooms are bit tired and design is awkward specially of the bathroom door. It’s impossible to not disturb everyone if there is a need to use bathroom at night or early morning; because the door is a sliding glass door which does not stop light and sound.

Answer rudely even if they didn't understand my question at the front desk. There is No professionnalisme ! Check well your credit card bill after check out ! They took some cost from my credit card, which i didn't use, without asking or checking further. No word of sorry or try to solve quickly because 'it's very busy season now'
