We had an excellent stay at Summerlea. It has a well-appointed kitchen and spacious entertaining areas. The kids enjoyed playing in the pool.

Pool is very dirty. The house is dusty and not that clean. When we called the number that was provided & the guy said he is no longer connected to the property and the lady on the other end of the line was sarcastic. Not worth the money paid for an overnight stay

Berry Break away from Sydney

We had a very enjoyable stay at this property. The kitchen, dining area, and lounge flow off the front entrance, and the outside space has a pool and a covered outside dining area. The weather was warm and perfect for using the swimming pool. We enjoyed our 2 night stay away in Berry.

Overall the property is lovely and in a fantastic location. Check in process was is so easy and pet friendly. Cleanliness though was an issue both inside and out. The pool was dirty and outside BBQ area not clean. Inside was also an issue with laundry being left from previous visitors. We also had the pool maintenance man turn up unannouced in the middle of our stay to clean the pool while we were using it. Hot water also an issue resulting in cold showers and no hot water to wash dishes.

Fantastic house in a fantastic location

This property was in an awesome location in Berry, it was extremely close to the shops and the new playground. The house itself was lovely. The rooms were huge and there were two seperate living areas and a large kitchen. The outdoor areas suited us perfectly, we didn’t end up taking our dogs but if we had they would’ve have a good area to play in as the pool, outdoor eating area and grassed area were separated with fences. I would return to stay here in a heartbeat!

I found the management team prior to checkin inflexible and not willing to make any changes. The property is very expensive for what you get and had so much dog hair on the cushions on the lounge which wasn’t great. The property team that helped us on the day of checkin as fabulous and very nice. Thank you!

Property is in a fantastic location and the management company were very responsive and helpful when we rang with issues during our stay. However the property is tired and has a number of issues that the owner really needs to fix given the price being charged. Negatives:- Fan in master bed doesn't work properly (noisy and broken remote) and the room is unbearably hot for summer stays- The AC return air grill in the main hall was blocked with dust and barely any cold air reaches the master. - Outdoor area was very dirty - we all got black feet from the dirt and had to wipe them every time we went inside- BBQ ignition doesn't work so it needs to be lit with matches after removing the grilles. It didn't appear to have been cleaned for a while- 1/2 bag of wood and no kindling for pizza oven - we had to buy our own even though we only used it once- the flueing for the pizza oven is inadequate as most of the smoke comes out of the front even when fire is hot - you can't sit out there when in use- Pool full of leaves and dirty- Oven dirty and didn't close fully so cooking in it was a challenge- Many light switches had either no covers or were dirtyPositives:- Beds were very comfortable, good linen and nicely made- All other bedrooms were great in terms of comfort- Bathrooms were clean and generous- Pet friendly garden and great car access- Convenient and private setting- Property management staff were helpful and responsive
