What a beauty

What a beautiful time we had making memories at the cottage! We appreciate that the cottage tells a story, it’s not just accommodation it’s about the experience! The views are spectacular, you truly won’t want to leave this place. Loved the wildlife and Sid the Alpaca who came to visit us! Thank you Tori for being so helpful and the gifts on arrival. The Cottage was an idyllic place to spend a long weekend in the countryside. The proximity to the centre of Berry was very convenient, and the attention to detail in the finishings and creature comforts added that extra special touch to a lovely weekend.

What a fantastic Easter break ,this is our second stay at the cottage and it was just as good as the first stay ,so peaceful and beautiful views, it’s a very comfortable little place ,everything you need and fantastic for our fur baby ! Lovely well manicured property with great views. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed The only slight negative is that it’s a tough drive with lots of hairpin bends from Berry to the property but gets easier as you get more familiar

Perfect friends getaway

The idyllic setting set the scene for a memorable long weekend away. The mandarins from the orchids on the property smelt and tasted heavenly. The friendly neighbouring horses and alpacas made the mountain and ocean view even better. Great hosts, great stay. Worth it.

We loved this property, no stress, quiet & relaxing atmosphere. The animals were friendly, picked mandarins & oranges straight from the trees. The main benefit for us was that the property is pet friendly, our 4 dogs had a great time, this was the first time we have had the opportunity to have a short holiday all together.

Cosy cottage with gorgeous views

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was filled with character and very peaceful, just a short drive from Berry. The owners provided helpful tips for things to do in the local area and a welcome package of useful food essentials. Accomodation was good with a comfortable bed and great shower. Our dog loved the grounds with plenty of space to run and a helpful enclosed space around the cottage. Only suggestion would be to provide some warmer throws for the couch to snuggle up on a cold day but otherwise it was perfect for our long weekend getaway

Beautiful and restorative

We had 2 nights here. Three adults and 2 small dogs. The cottage is lovely - most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. We spent all our time in the gardens outside. During the day we would go for walks. In the evening we enjoyed the firepit. The dogs loved the space to roam. The owners were responsive and generous in helping us with anything we need. We will definitely be coming back for more.

Best breath of fresh air ever!

Everything from booking, to communications pre, during and prior was fantastic! The home itself was a classic made comfortable with all the refined items you need and a fabulous fire pit overlooking the mountain and ocean. Waking up to the very friendly horses and cute lamas was so great! The lamas really took to our fur baby who thoroughly enjoyed the open space. We will be back with another couple to share this space with again. Was just a dream! Thank you! Xx

Great stay!

We felt relaxed from the moment we stepped foot in the cottage. The stunning scenery as we drove up was only a glimpse of the full beauty of this mountain. The views from the cabin are stunning and everything has been thought through: lovely bedding, wood for the fire pit, a lovely “starter” kit of milk, freshly laid farm eggs and fresh bread; a washing machine, etc. We had most of our meals outside to enjoy the serenity, and the mornings in particular were stunning. My son loved it so much he asked if we could make it an annual trip, and there was loads to do with kids including the Jambaroo Action park. Great recommendations from Tori and she was very helpful throughout. Amazing time had by all.
