「We had an amazing weekend. The house is a bit outdated, but we were there to be outside. There is another rental connected to the A-frame. The walls are very thin, but we didn't mind at all. (We're used to the loud city). They have their own fire pit and outdoor section in the back yard. 「We stayed overnight to prepare for a friends bridal shower. The kitchen was well stocked for us to cook our own meal, there was plenty of seating to enjoy said meal together and the space was terrific for entertaining. We spent a ton of time in the hot tub which was in great shape and very clean. The beds were really comfortable which made the stay even better as many of us traveled quite a distance. The hosts were very responsive to questions and requests. We can't wait to come back!」

「My husband and I spent the weekend at the Elwood Escape for our wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed the set up of the home and we spent a lot of time in the back yard by the fire pit. We took advantage of the hikes and were able to bring our small dog with us. We also loved that one of the restaurants/bar was across the street from the home and were able to walk to the location. Over all we enjoyed this nice quiet escape from the city.」

「This cabin was just what we were looking for! Beautiful views, lots and LOTS of space to run around, easy access to trails and so peaceful. We took the advice of the guide and visited Chet’s Place for dinner and visited the nearby lake. Both were great. My family and I had the most wonderful time and would love to return! 10/10 - would recommend!」

「Big, clean, quiet, comfortable room. Fast and friendly reception. Only issue is they continue to automatically add optional charges, such as local historic fees.
