「The property is beautiful and although the building is old, the rooms were updated with modern finishes. We used the amenities, including the pool. We rented e-bikes, and it was convenient, if a little expensive. Staff were very helpful, including providing advice on local bike routes. We had breakfast one morning in the dining room. 「On arrival, the main entrance was locked due to an event taking place around the hotel, so I had to find my way in through a side entrance. Reception then informed me I’d need a room key to use the main door, which doesn’t make much sense for a guest who hasn’t checked in yet and has no key. On top of that, water pressure in the shower was quite low, and at 8:30 AM on checkout day, there was nobody at the reception desk to check me out.
