「Great location. All city shops, restaurants and historical sites easily within walking distance. The pool and sunbeds were particularly welcome in the late afternoons on the hot days we stayed there. Fan provided in the room was a bonus (temperatures were exceptionally high).」

「We stayed at Walnut Lodge from 22nd to 29th July 2025 while attending a wedding at a nearby château just 5 minutes away—and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. 「We stayed in this beautiful cottage for a week and it was blissful. A bubbling river runs along the bottom of the garden and many an hour was spent sitting next to the river, sipping something cool and nodding off to the sound of the water. The host, Katherine and her two wonderful granddaughters were absolutely delightful and nothing was too much trouble. There are stunning castles galore to visit within a short distance and great restaurants too. We will definitely return. 」

Le service est de très grande qualité (la maison est magnifique, les pièces sont très grandes, la literie est top), tout est compris (linge, draps, ménage en fin de séjour) ce qui rend le séjour zen. 「This holiday was simply fantastic. The house was ideal for our family of six adults and a 1 year old child. Set in open countryside the property was easy to find, secluded, peaceful and the thick stone walls kept us cool in what were unusually high temperatures.
